I love this drive. It works just the way I thought it would.

I want a back up drive so I got this one since it was on sale. I think I had trouble with it but I didn't press the DVD down far enough before pushing the door in.

Great external CD/DVD drive. As technology progresses the CD/DVD drive has disappeared. So this was a great addition when I needed to archive years of my Fathers CD’s.

I have a laptop that has a CD port that no longer works. I bought this to try it out and it works amazing! Now I can burn CD’s without a problem through windows media player.

It was the sexiest external USB DVD writer in the store, so I bought it. Okay, it works well, is quiet, fast for an external and has a low profile. Those things too.

Current build doesnt hace an optical disc. I use this when needed. It burns well and plays discs easily. Easy to install and very light weight.

The dvd player provides very good picture and sound quality. The controller is easy to use.

I received my LG -8x External USB Double-Layer DVD+_RW/CD-RW Drive-Black on July 3, 2020, late in afternoon. I came home and try to use it, but as I am not a computer expert I called, store & they give me appointment at-once. I reach the store in less then 10 minutes, and Geek Squad agents were ready to help me. They answered all my question, and showed me how to make copy/copies from CD. Next day one of my neighbor showed me, little more easy away from MAC to make copy using the external drive. Excellent Product.
