I bought this item nearly a year ago and am happy to report the drive still works as good as the day I bought it. I bought my son a gaming computer last Christmas, along with several PC games, not realizing the computer I just purchased for him did not have a CD-ROM drive. I decided instead of taking back the computer or the games, I would just spend $30 and buy this external drive. The best part is that I can use it with my tablet as well, which is an awesome bonus. Money well spent.

This is a great external DVD drive. It takes up very little space on your desktop and easily fits into your laptop case. As a bonus it is very quiet.

This is a great dvd player, and very easy to use. Just plug it into your usb drive, and you're good to go!

This portable disc player is confineable enough for me to travel anywhere with, & works well with no glitches or a long startup. Easy installation. I use it for work all of the time.

Now that most laptops do not come with a drive for diacs this item is ideal. Works well, easy to use

I have a MacBook Pro and had originally looked at the Apple version, but was not wanting to pay the $79 for the Apple version when I was reading some negative reviews on that product. This version was more economical and did everything I needed. I gave 4 stars as I had to upload my CD library onto my computer and it needed a break after many CDs were loaded. I loaded them in succession, and there were greater than 100 to load, so one could expect that this device might need a moment to "breathe". =) It has worked beautifully, easily, and I would definitely recommend!

The DVD has really helped me immensely. With the DVD, I was able to add programs that were very useful for me to accomplish my tasks.

Purchased for use with a HP Mini PC, it installed with no problems. Small, fast a excellent addition to the system.

If you need an external cd drive for your laptop that’s not heavy, easy to take with and use, you can’t go wrong with this one.
