My laptop burner stopped working, just used it for few times This is a Good alternative, especially when you can get it at discount

I have a MacBook Pro and had originally looked at the Apple version, but was not wanting to pay the $79 for the Apple version when I was reading some negative reviews on that product. This version was more economical and did everything I needed. I gave 4 stars as I had to upload my CD library onto my computer and it needed a break after many CDs were loaded. I loaded them in succession, and there were greater than 100 to load, so one could expect that this device might need a moment to "breathe". =) It has worked beautifully, easily, and I would definitely recommend!

Light weight and easy to use great for a mobile or traveling person.

Since I have several documents and lots of photos on CD, and the new laptops no longer come with a built-in DVD/CD writer. I've only used it a couple of times since I purchased the new laptop and writer, and I admit it is not as convenient as having it built into the laptop, but technology has come a long way since I purchased my original laptop many years ago. It's not something I use every day and it's just a matter of connecting it when I need it, and the price was reasonable.

This drive has been everything I needed. Having used PCs since the early 1980s I have seen it all, from built-in drives to stand alone units. This one is the easiest I ever installed. It was a simple effort on my laptop and has not had any issues since day one. I would recommend this drive to anyone.
