Most computer manufacturers have phased out built in storage/ readers and want you to use their download services or cloud services, but somethings I have I would like to have available on my system and not out in never never land.

I like this CD/DVD player. It is small and does not take a lot of room. Easy to plug in to my laptop.

Easily added as new hardware, no problem accessing the drive and using it routinely.

I bought this because my new desktop computer does not have one built in. It connects to the computer via the supplied usb cable. It works as intended, no complaints. You can't beat the price either.

Works as intended. Cheap purchase price. Would recommend a better unit for daily or heavy use. Satisfied with purchase as a "convenience" portable use unit. Heartily recommend for that purpose as a unit that will "get the job done" affordably and offer portability at the same time.

Easy to use with both a Mac and windows computer. Reads and writes very quickly and not too loud at all

I've been using this device for almost a year, and it's been great. It's 100% plug and play, no fiddling around needed. I've ripped CDs with it, played movies, and listened to music. It doesn't get as much use as a PC CD-Rom would have 10 years ago of course, given the capabilities of modern computers, but when I need it, it absolutely gets the job done.

Very good DVD player for the money. I use it to back up my laptop and view DVD’s. Easy to connect and use.

This was on sale & I couldn’t resist. The unit is very lightweight but of very good quality. I’ve put my unit through a lot of abuse & it continues to work flawlessly. The USB feature turns a CD/DVD into behaving like it’s a USB memory drive. Definitely recommended.

For me it wasn't as easy as the sales lady told me it would be to use but after watching a few youtube videos, it got better and worked out great. My problem was that I was using it for my Embroidery Machine to download some disc's into my laptop and couldn't bring everything to the store for help and didn't have time to teach anyone about using an Embroidery Machine at my house. So, I gave 4 stars because it did the job needed after I was educated. As a senior citizen, I don't always understand what the sales person is talking about anyway .... Lol.

Built-in CD drive quit working in my laptop. This works perfectly and installed easily. A lot cheaper than getting a new built-in one replaced.

Easy hook-up, started working on first try, couldn't ask for better performance. Small and compact... takes up little space.

I love this disc drive. I hate how they have gotten rid of disc drives so this suits wlme very well.

The computer I bought has no DVD drive. This device was easy to use and is more than adequate to meet my needs for an add on DVD drive.
