No matter how you adjust it you cannot hear the subwoofer no matter how you connected. It says it’s on but you get nothing out of it. You lose connectivity to the Bluetooth speakers in the back of the room you gotta go in and constantly reconnect them worst sound bar ever I got an old Sony sound bar and subwoofer on the back porch sounds way better I can hear knocking on the door for my subwoofer on the LG. I hear absolutely nothing very unhappy with this purchase  the only remedy I have is boxed up and send it back to LG. Best Buy wouldn’t do anything and I bought the extended warranty.

If your subwoofer isn’t producing sound, we recommend performing a full reset of the soundbar and subwoofer by unplugging both units for 60 seconds, then powering them back on and re-pairing. Had difficulty getting the back speakers to work and after numerous phone calls to LG (they were of no help) our cable company came out and we discovered if we stream what we are watching, then the back speakers will come on, even then, the sound is very tinny. Not a great quality for the price. I’d look at Sonos next time.

Sometimes, the audio settings may need to be adjusted to allow proper communication between the TV and soundbar. Additionally, try using HDMI ARC or optical cables for the most reliable connection between your devices.
If you’re still experiencing the "tinny" sound, adjusting the sound modes (like switching to “Cinema” or “Music” mode) could help improve the overall audio quality.
