Had difficulty getting the back speakers to work and after numerous phone calls to LG (they were of no help) our cable company came out and we discovered if we stream what we are watching, then the back speakers will come on, even then, the sound is very tinny. Not a great quality for the price. I’d look at Sonos next time.

The first time, the sound bar was physically damaged and I exchanged it. The second time, the subwoofer was not working. I call LG technical support and tried a number of different things but LG confirmed that the unit has to be exchanged. I didn't want to go through this and third time, so I returned the product and will purchase a different brand.

WOW and orchestra are just marketing gimmicks. There are better systems out there for similar prices.

LG 95TR Sound Bar is awful

I have a 10 year old, smaller Bose that has 3X the power and quality. I've tried all the settings and the base is non-existent. I plan to return this item to the store on Tuesday.

Horrible bass for a 16” sub

There was hardly any bass. I even tried old school hip hop and was extremely disappointed. Returned and bought Bose. Worth the extra money

Best Buy shipping process is a disaster

Amazing sound, Flawless Wireless, Flawed UI
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For the past week, I've been testing the new 2024 LG 9.1.5 channel soundbar with subwoofer and rear speakers (Model: S95TR). Overall, I love it because of the wireless surround speakers and fantastic sound quality. However, the user interface has its flaws. The package includes the soundbar, subwoofer, two rear speakers, five power cables, and a remote with batteries. The speakers feel premium with their mostly hard plastic and a touch of aluminum construction, but the remote's polished plastic feels cheap. Also the layout of the remote is not very intuitive. Setup was both simple and annoying. While connecting the speakers was straightforward, the lack of an on-screen menu or built-in display made the setup process more cumbersome. Instead of having an onscreen menus for setup and customization I had to use an app on my phone. The app allowed me to calibrate the system, adjust sound levels of the individual speakers, raise and lower volume and change sound profiles. It basically provided the user interface that should have been built in to the soundbar and remote. Sound performance is exceptional. I tested it with Dolby-enabled content and high resolution audio on Tidal, and the results were impressive. All speakers maintained a flawless connection to each other and delivered tight bass responses, clear vocals, and highly noticeable surround sound effects. Watching Star Wars The Acolyte, I could hear and almost feel ships flying above, the lightsabers clashing and dialogue was clear. While using the Tidal connect feature for listening to music I was highly impressed at the instrument separation, vocal range and clarity of the system as a whole. Out of all the surround sound systems I tested this year, this one has the best sound. With that said, I would recommend this soundbar for an audiophile that is looking for a fantastic wireless surround system. They just need to be able to look past the lackluster remote and missing on screen menu.

I got this for $200 when I bought my LG 65" G4 a few days ago on the LG partner store, they had a sale so I can't complain, I love it.
