One week after purchasing, and the length of ownership for this review, Best Buy lists it at $200 off and for review sake, I will keep my synopsis at this update price and for my desires, it still doesn't come close to being a worthwhile purchase. Sound quality is very much a subjective subject, but I found this device to produce a very focused and muddled sound for anything other than voices. The center channel was excellent in isolating voice content in movies and games. However, there was zero separation between left and right channels. At a sitting distance of 15' feet, this left an impression of being "underwater" and an odd feeling in the ears. The sub produced a loose sound that would randomly shut off or overpower and not match the content on the screen. Additionally, the bar itself would randomly switch sources between the dedicated HDMI in and the ARC. I also found the lack of inputs to be a factor and would suggest those looking for a unit to find one that has 2 or more HDMI in ports so that if you have a Fire Stick/Game System/Or Disk drive, you can plug those directly into the bar versus having to route them through the TV and then run optical in. In short, I am returning this item and will look at others although the wife has instructed me to get a vacuum instead because those are least supposed to suck...

The box arrived in pieces (shipped) so I had to drive to a BestBuy to get the missing cords that seemed to have fallen out.
