Attached to my not smart TV & can now stream Amazon, Netflix, Pandora, etc. Great investment at $55.

Adequate and does its job. Fast load time and no issues.

This is a very good machine and it plays DVD's beautifully.

This works fine for now, but I've had two other LG products (LED TV and cell phone) as soon as they are out of warranty. LG refuses to do anything about it even though they know about common problems with their product. Will never purchase an LG product again.

Freezes and sometimes don't want to turn off.i someone's have to unplug it from the wall and reconnect and set it up all over again . Horrible

I love this small Blu Ray or DVD player. I also like the smart functions it has. I have an LG TV (although it would work with other TVs), but the Simplink function is nice. I noticed you need to be sure to update all the software so do that first. Also a wonderful function is YouTube Bluetooth connection to a smartphone, PC or a tablet. I connected to a tablet and it makes input easier on via a keyboard to select videos and music. Also liked the Amazon Prime connection which is very nice and connects to your account easily. BluRay player was sharper than DVD movie as expected. I noticed many apps for LG devices could be downloaded for remotes etc. One little problem is sometimes the device gets hung and I have to unplug the power to wake it up again. Don't know if this is just my unit, will monitor to see if I need to exchange it. But it is a nice player and would be 5 stars if I didn't have this hang problem a couple times (only have had unit 4 days).

Product hummed loud enough could not hear movie. Sent it back

We bought this player for our guest room and never used it for several months aside from a quick setup. It was quirky when I set it up, but nothing too much. Two weeks ago we finally had guests and they complained that the player kept shutting off not long into their movies, so I started testing and sure enough it wasn't working. I tried taking it back to Best Buy, but since it had been too long I had to go through LG directly to use their 1 year warranty. I called their service department and they attempted a very silly set of procedures that accomplished nothing and told me to keep trying and to call back if it kept malfunctioning. Of course it still wasn't working when I was still talking with them, but I hung up and tried again... 3 times. I finally said I didn't believe it was going to work and asked what they could do to get it fixed. All I really want at this point is a working player, but they said all they could do was a PARTIAL refund. Partial refund. I asked for a manager and they said, "well, we can give a full refund with original proof of purchase." I said, "well why didn't you say that instead of assuming I didn't!" Next I received a link to use to upload my proof of purchase. I attempted to upload the receipt 8-10 times from 3 different computers, each time being redirected to a "Page Not Found" error. I gave up and decided to try again later. Later that week I received a call from LG customer service letting me know that my claim would be denied if I weren't able to prove my purchase within 24 hours, so I chewed them out about their upload service being broken. They let me know that I could also fax it to them, to which I exclaimed in frustration that their upload service being broken is not my fault and that of course I had no access to a fax machine. I managed to try the upload 4-5 more times while on the phone and eventually it did go through and I was informed the next steps would come in the mail in 5-7 business days. Finally receiving the instructions, reading them made me even more upset. No return envelope was included, but I needed to send the letter back to LG with the original stickers from the back of the player. Once received and approved my payment should be back to me in just 6-8 weeks... 6-8 weeks, are they kidding? Why they refused to support their product with actual service or at least an exchange is beyond me. I will never buy anything from them again after this experience, but I would have been perfectly happy if they had offered to fix the product or better yet exchange it for one that actually works. To be fair to this player, it did seem to have a nice interface and was easy to use, except for that one little problem with it not working for 5 minutes in a row without shutting off!

The picture and sound are good. Doesn't have very many apps

blu-ray discs look great on my flatscreen. built in wi-fi is a plus!

I really recommend this Blu-Ray, it's made by a reliable company with guaranteed quality. It's compatible with 3D devices.

Not the top of the line but the price is lower by $25 and comes with 3D. I own another simple, LG 3D player and it works despite the so-so reviews. This player will become a backup and hopefully perform for a few years w/o issue.

Excellent way to turn an ordinary TV into a SMART one! Access Netflix, YouTube, watch Blu-Ray DVDs, and don't pay an outrageous price.

Bought last week based on the reviews. Had a 1 yr old Sony that I moved back to the bedroom and put the new LG in the family room. I have had nothing but problems with this unit. Log onto Netflix and it freezes up and says "loading". Used it to watch some videos on YouTube and was having the same problems. It was hit and miss as to when it would start acting up. The remote didn't seem like it was working right. Thought that the battery was dead, so I changed it out. Same problem. You almost have to be right up to the unit to get the remote to work. Twice now when you turn the unit on you see the little green light light up, but nothing else would happen after a few minutes. I ended up unplugging and re-plugging in the power source to the unit to get it to work. Taking this pile of junk back today and getting another Sony that was for the same price.

DVD player died and needed a new lg player with blueray and 3D. This one did and wasn't to expensive. It works well with my lg tv.

Excellent worked perfectly with my older LG TV easy to use

I purchased this unit to, in part, stream online content providers. The unit continually freezes up, requires me to unplug and then sometimes I have to re-enter my network information, download streaming apps and then also re-renter credentials there. This Blu-Player is a real pain and I would not recommend it. It also sometimes crashes or freezes on DVD and Blu-Ray discs.

Very disappointed. Purchased these to replace cable.
