    This LG refrigerator replaced an LG refrigerator whose compressor died about 7 months past the 10 year compressor warranty. Until then the frig worked flawlessly, so I fully expect to get at least another 10 years from this new LG model. This model had a dual icemaker, a great feature that the old frig di not have.

    We selected the LG counter depth model because it has more Cu. Ft. than the comparable GE. It does stick out a bit more, mostly due to the thickness of the doors which contain the ice maker. One issue is that while it fits within a 30" refrigerator slot, it requires clearance on both sides for the doors to open properly. If it is to go against a wall, it's not going to work. Very pleased with the product overall.

    The refrigerator is everything I expected. As I compare this unit to my previous unit, it is obvious the quality is not the same. There are many plastic parts, like the drawer in the freezer. Given the usage of a drawer in the freezer, I am concerned about how this will hold up.

    Loving this Refrigerator had a side by side came with house. Our previous house we had a similiar style , finally I am able to navigate within my fridge and find all that I am looking for. Thank you for such a great option.

    We bought this refrigerator and a microwave 2 years back in October 2023. Refrigerator had a leakage issue in July 2025, had to replace a part(and microwave stopped heating in October 2025!) The quality of LG appliances is really very very disappointing.

One helpful step you can try is checking that the refrigerator is level and that the drain pan and water lines are securely connected, as misalignment or loose fittings can sometimes cause leaks.     I love my new LG french door refrigerator! It has so much more shelf space than my old side by side refrigerator. Also, I like that it has two places to get ice cubes. In the door and in the freezer.
