Misleading Door Dimensions! Read First!

This fridge might be great for most but the door dimensions are very misleading and even misrepresented in the drawings and owners manual. The idea of a counter depth fridge is now lost on us beacuse when the doors are fully open, the corner of the door opens 2" inches WIDER than the dimensions indicate. If you don't have that room, then your doors will not open all the way! We now have to pull the fridge much farther away from the wall in order to accommodate the wider doors and now have actually LOST room in our kitchen because of a shallower "counter depth" fridge.

LG - let me down - Do research/ask techs

Ordered this model when I moved. Was very happy w/ older LG but could not take it with me. This one is a disappointment. Handle to freezer drawer: screw got stripped & broke when installing. Called Best Buy: they could not help. Called LG - talked to someone that tried to help, but left off with "they would contact me"...3 months later: no contact. I have to pull the drawer open by the wee knobs - hopefully using correct pressure. UGH Interface: water/ice dispenser is pressure activated. Same as my older model...but this model needs a harder "press" & press again to get to the function you want. Awkward & a downgrade. I think that LG is a popular brand, appeals to an aesthetic and was really good in the recent past. But maybe they are coasting on that rep. If I were to have to buy a new fridge today: I would go with a Whirlpool or GE. Why: from real life reviews from friends/family & techs (that know what breaks down). Just my opinion - and yeah - if you are set on LG - good luck. But wanted to share my less than great experience before you plunk down a lot of money on this particular product - you can do better.

Disappointed in quality

Refrigerator had a leakage issue in July 2025, had to replace a part(and microwave stopped heating in October 2025!) The quality of LG appliances is really very very disappointing.

Beware: Promotional Gift Card is Scam

We bought this fridge during a promtional period which stated we would receive a $150 Gift Card. Upon calling Customer Service, it became evident that the gift card promotion was not coming to us. Would rate 5 stars if not for the lies about the promotional gift card. A major reason for buying the refrigerator at this time was for the card to buy Christmas gifts.

Dumb fridge

There is no feedback for is the fridge is working. You can’t even see the actual temp. Just the set point. Fairly useless communication.

Broke after 15 months

Best Buy wants $125 just to come out, priced to force me into Geek Squad. This is just pitiful.

Would not purchase again!

Best Bust Bad
