Also, it came with a dent in the freezer door, and the (very competent and professional) delivery person said he was arranging for a new door front, which he would deliver soon. Have not heard anything since.

Reliable, but button design is bad

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: - Cavernous interior makes efficient use of space, allowing you to store more than other standard-sized fridges. - Quiet and efficient, with a nice combination of side-by-side doors and bottom freezer. - Cool to see if it’s making ice, and how much water you use, daily door openings, and even energy use on the app. Cons: - Every single person tries to press the ice button when they want ice from the door, but it is just a picture and not a button! To save a few bucks, LG has a single button on the door to rotate between ice cubes, crushed ice, and water. The button is hard to see, and even harder to press. Switching between modes is a real inconvenience and a usability flaw. - There is no water-catching tray under the door water dispenser, so any spill causes unsightly drips down the whole front of the fridge.

Only negative is door shelf adjustment is too limited.

Great Refrigerator, HORRIBLY annoying alert

The ONLY issue I have with it and reason I gave it 3 stars is the CONSTANT beeping when its left open for more than 30 seconds. VERY annoying. Its pretty much constantly going off because in a house of 4 people there seems to always be someone going into the refrigerator. If it was left open for 5 minutes I could understand but this alert happens after a VERY short time of it being open... very annoying.

Replacement LG

It’s like it has an “auto close” feature, although in reality it’s not designed as such. Other than this issue, satisfied with this LG model. Much more tolerable than having to “mop up” accumulated water under the deli drawer with our previous Kenmore (manufactured by LG) refrigerator, on a weekly basis. Another friend also faced the same issue on an actual LG refrigerator.

Can't control it from slamming shut. Also, the piece that should open to protect the seal doesn't work right. Tried to get some support from Best Buy or LG and nothing so far. A little frustrating!

It has a nice stainless steel finish that's easy to clean. The temperate control panel never changes. It always reads one temperature. My old fridge provided the actual internal temp so you would know when something was wrong. Left ice door shelving could be slightly bigger to allow stacking of more items. Shelving capacity once arranged right is great.

A little disappointed

A wheel has already come off one of the racks in the freezer, making it hard to open and close.. The door icemaker works only intermittently. Would not have expected this many problems this early on. Also as hard to find a parts list for this refrigerator online. When you search the model number, nothing comes up.
