  • Nice Fridge, No Soft Ice

    The reason why I’m not giving 5 stars is because the sales rep told me the ice maker makes the soft chew ice but the fridge doesn’t have what we call “Chick-fil-A ice”. My husband had a recent stroke in addition to his treatment for a type of head and neck cancer. The hospital ice helped him stay hydrated safely due to having swallowing issues. The soft chew ice works for him, but it wasn’t included with this model even though the sales rep said it was included. The other feature is the craft ice but the craft ice doesn’t seem to last that long in my opinion. The fridge is nice but not worth the money if you’re expecting a specific type of ice. The fridge is very spacious, but the freezer could use some more space. Other than that, I like the fridge.

    To open and close you need to reach on top of door. Leaving Back of palm or hand prints. annoying. Clean door then smudges all the time. Hard to open and close with out leaving marks. Also— water maker and ice maker making more noise then current engineering should allow for. Odd. If you sleep nearby rethink. If you are far away then no issue.

    Great keeping cold. Love the ice makers. Hinges on the door hit our wall because of the way the are designed. Be sure to measure your space to include how you open doors.

    Delivered on date promised and most of wrapping removed for me. Great job removing old and bringing in the new fridge. Was told they were not the installers when they arrived just delivery. Was told tipping is the norm a few times.

    Product and install excellent. Service on the refrigerator that failed was handled poorly. I've written two letters addressed to the Service Mgr. describing the problem. Have personally given each letter to a Best Buy employee at the Torrance Store twice with no response to date.
