The king of Ice-makers!!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For my fellow shoppers, who are looking to minimize the cost of a new major purchase and help maximize all the bells and whistles, we hope our families and budgets appreciate. I did my research weeks before buying. I read multiple reviews, focusing on features, usage cost, and reliability. The LG line had all three, and then some. I chose the LG model BBY01-806770538346, which Best Buy had just added to its appliance lineup. So new that no stores had yet put a demo on the floor. (June 18th, 2023) I admit, having 3 separate ice makers caught my attention. The counter depth was an intentional selection, giving my family more space between the kitchen island and the only space to install the fridge. The gallon-size storage bin in the easy-access French door was placed perfectly, even from the outside, via the mirrored access glass door. Yes, it has the “knock knock” illumination feature. The two ice bins in the top freezer drawer took some getting used to, but I have never been without ice. One is for those fancy ice balls, while the other provides mini cubes. The ice balls last longer, so your favorite drink doesn’t get watered down too fast. Smart! The drawers are climate-adjustable. Most between meat and vegetable settings. Storage is divided among several adjustable shelves. (4) The inner (L) inner door has very small shelves, but that was expected due to the water/ ice dispenser. Freezer space is not the greatest, kind of like playing Tetris with food items. Manageable. But less than I’d like. Coming up on the fridge's 2-year service with no complaints. This is what triggered my desire to write this review. LG assumed my warranty was already expired (1 year after purchase) To add an extended service plan now through LG… 2 years = $552.84 & 3 years = $783.19. I was smart this time and purchased the Geek Squad's (standard) 5-coverage for $599.99 at the time of purchase. Good until June 2028. Smartest move ever! Yes, I would recommend this LG refrigerator with an extended service plan to anyone with mild space issues. 26 cubic feet. Nice features. 3 ice-makers. Easy to clean surface. LG thinQ compatible. Do the math. Hope this helps.

Sleek looking fridge

Satisfied
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG counter depth refrigerator replaced a full size. The shelf depth makes a difference, however, it works for two people. The freezer section is more than adequate. Four different ice options fills our needs. Regular and crushed in the door and two options in the freezer: balls and mini cubes. We have had the LG for two months and the AC temperature in both the refrigerator and freezer holds the settings.

Decent fridge
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fridge has a great design but be ready for fingerprints on the beverage mirrored door. If I was designing the inside I would have made the vegetable bins a bit smaller to give more room inside. If you want to use the beverage door for large warehouse items they won’t fit. Also the ice maker is a bit loud. Not dumping ice but making it, Kind of a whiney sound.
