    As the owner of the LG Counter-Depth MAX 26.5 Cu. Ft. French Door Smart Refrigerator with water dispenser (model number LRFLC2706S), I would like to express my concerns regarding my recent experience with the product. Unfortunately, the refrigerator ceased functioning approximately one year after purchase, which was particularly distressing upon returning home from vacation on June 8, 2025, to find the unpleasant odor of spoiled food. I reached out to Best Buy In-Home Repairs for assistance, but I found the experience somewhat challenging and disappointing, particularly given the circumstances. I initially purchased the refrigerator on March 24, 2024, and I was hopeful that it would meet my expectations for quality and service. I understand that delays can happen, but I now face a wait until June 26, 2025, for a diagnosis. As someone who invested in an extended warranty, I had hoped for a more supportive response.     Poor quality and cheap materials, but expensive!

    I was very disappointed on the LG LRFLC2706S. It's expensive but with very cheap materials, not to mention the poor quality! The French Doors were not aligned, and the door with flap can't hold much weight, or the flap won't pop up when you close the door. The technician sent from Best Buy tried to adjust the doors, but could not fix the problem. I'm now waiting for the replacement and have to wait over one month! I sure hope the replacement unit does not have the same problem.

    Poor Delivery

    The unit appears to be working properly. My issue is with the condition at delivery. I bought refrigerator as a gift. It came with several visable scratches on the front of the unit and a large V shaped dent on the rear from the bottom of the unit to half way up the back. The access plate was significantly damaged and i took off and reshaped to fit. The refrigerant plumbing was bent a there was worry that performance may be affected. Not happy especially since it was a gift.

    I bought this refrigerator in June 2024 and it's already falling apart. The door handle keeps coming loose, and now the seal has broken off. Also, I didn't realize it didn't have a crisper drawer, I guess I thought all refrigerators come with them, but not this one. Worst refrigerator I've ever had.

    do not buy from best buy- nothing but a headache and hassle- they do not install and deliver but use a 3party company. This company wants a 123 install anything thats not they say we can’t do. Also the people that come to your house to measure do not know how to measure properly, i am still waiting for a call from local management and not India who seems to not care not offer any $$ back for all my inconveniences—- truly a nightmare— buy from LG-

    In the beginning it was working fine. Then it slowed down on producing ice. Behind the freezer it's iced over. Dummy me didn't get a warranty. I'm working with LG. They have been helpful. I've reset the ice maker. That worked for a little bit but now it's not freezing. There is a film on the items in the freezer. Also now it seems like the freezer is sticking. I knew I shouldn't have bought a LG. I will not buy LG again.

    The refrigerator was delivered and the installation went fine until the handle slipped off the front of the door and put a dent in the freezer. A repairman came later with no equipment to repair the damage , He thought it was a Leak.I Am now scheduled for june hopefully he will bring the things necessary to repair the panel .a new panel

    Fridge is nice, freezer handle fell off

    This unit is less than 1 week old and my daughter pilled the freezer handle clean off. I know i saw delivery tram install the handles, so unsure if they did it wrong or theyrr badly made.

    This item did not fit. It was 3” away from the back wall and the door was too thick to open. We sent it back and had to have our old frig put back.

    A disappointment

    It is most definitely NOT a cabinet deep appliance. It sticks out a minimum of 6" in order for the doors to open. The shelves inside are essentially not adjustable, although the configuration is acceptable. The metal on the surface is distorted and wavy where the door handles are attached. It makes the appliance look distorted. Overall - a disappointment.

    Best Buy geek squad delivered me a broken fridge. No attempt to compensate me for the time I spent away from my day job to have them fix the problem. Time is money and although Best Buy seemingly fixed the issue for now, their call center wait times and 4-8 hour service windows are unacceptable. I would add that they publish a phone number for help on their web site that is a WRONG number. Unbelievable.
