    I have used the refrigerator some time now and it looks good as of now. The door in door looks a little gimmicky but nevertheless has been useful.

    I'm very happy with my purchase, so far everything is working fine. The ice maker do seems to get stuck, but its a simple fix just open it up and move the ice around.

    Like the refrigerator but the number 11 shelf will not hold in place and food items cannot be sat on it. Called LG and was told a replacement shelf would be mailed.

    The refrigerator is great, it was a gift for my mother-in-law. She really loves it and it was at a great price. The reason my review is so low is because the delivery took over a month to happen because it kept getting rescheduled.

    I have had this refrigerator for 1 year and 1 month and the ice maker went out. Called LG customer service and guess what the ice maker has a 1 year warranty. Also the instaview door does not seal tight and if your not careful closing it opens back up.

We understand that your LG Refrigerator (LMXS28596D) model's ice maker stopped working and that you are having an issue with the InstaView door not sealing properly. For the ice maker, a troubleshooting step you can take is to check if the ice maker's shut-off arm is in the down position. If it is in the "up" or "Off" position, it will prevent the ice maker from producing ice. Make sure the arm is fully lowered.
