I have owned LG fridges before, and I really like them. I just bought this one to put in the kitchen, and am moving the kitchen fridge to the basement. This is just newer with more features. Love the space and the door-in-door...

First one shipped compressor didn't run. Second was shipped quickly and works fine. Compressor is a little loud when it kicks on so we shall see. Dual ice makers are a plus.

I love our new LG Door in Door Refrigerator its just what we needed, our old refrigerator was one we purchased with our home years ago. This new LG is large spacious, and the counter depth fits comfortably in the same space and prevents the door from striking the counter or wall. Full featured its very quiet. i love the thru the door which provides quick access to the more frequented items, and the vegetable deli sections with covered sliding draws and temperature select. We had to get used to the freezer section as our old refrigerator was a side by side, the depth took a little getting used to as I'm almost 6'5", Great ice maker, initially thought it was a little small, however it makes ice so quickly there's always an ample supply when needed, there is also an area in the freezer where you can save enough ice for parties. Adjustable shelves for large items. I like that the freezer has a sliding draw section which allows access to smaller items. The exterior surface is a beautiful addition to our kitchen, and we love the display and controls. We compared this to a comparable Samsung, lots of Samsung products in my home but we choose the LG for the Door-In -Door option, styling, and the price point. We feel really good about our selection. I'm pretty sure I'm leaving something out, cant say enough about how happy we are with our purchase.

I purchased this refrigerator three weeks ago for a new home and am very pleased. Its sleek and user friendly design combined with its large storage capacity have made it ideal for our kitchen. We really enjoy the door-in-door feature.

The left door has the plastic 1 inch piece that opens and closes to seal the gap between the two doors. There is a spring loaded plastic pin in the top and if the door closes too fast that spring loaded pin gets pressed down and won't close that piece and you'll have a fridge with about 1/2 inch of open space to the outside. Too fast meaning closing the door without holding onto it to slow it down. I've never seen such a poor design. I almost always have to shut the door twice and I always watch to make sure it closes. But my kids do not do this.

What a great fridge! Two ice makers---1 in the fridge door and a bin in the bottom freezer! You will never run out! Love the outside convenience door for milk, etc. Great fridge! Love it!

This is the best fridge I’ve ever owned. Brightly illuminated inside. Its easy to find everything and easy to reach even for a small person. Super roomy and keeps produce, dairy, and meats fresh for a really long time.

Great choice for a new appliance. The inside is super roomy. The double ice-maker is amazing. Keeps some in reserve at the top for you cups and drops all of the rest into a bucket in the freezer. Love the door in door concept.

Everyone in the family loved this refrigerator, a lot of space, very organized drawers, and the inside light is amazing. For a family of 4 the ice maker is good enough. It is a great deal

Love the double doors - but the left door closes hard (because the ice machine is in the door). I also love the two ice makers!! One in the door and one in the lower freezer.

We love our new LG refrigerator. It has the 2 ice makers which is great as we drink lots of ice tea. The kids can open the left side to get drinks without opening the door all the way.

I bought this for my mother-in-law as a gift. We have the exact same model for our house so my mother-in-law wanted the same one. We love the features. Double ice maker, water dispenser, door in door, bright LED lighting, plenty of storage that makes sense. Top ice maker in door and not taking up storage space like the other brands. quiet. Why the bad rating? About 18 months of owning it the compressor died. We didn't buy the extended warranty from Best Buy so we had to deal with LG's warranty service. The good news was the compressor was covered but the bad news is that the installation was not. We spent an additional $600 for installation due to the complexity of these newer refrigerators. That wasn't the bad part. The compressor was shipped out from out of the country which took 2 weeks plus the certified LG installer couldn't come out for an additional 2 weeks prior to diagnose the issue. Luckily my mom kept her old refrigerator as a back up but she was out a fridge for a month. We asked the Best Buy rep what the options were and he tried calling LG for us but their hands were tied. The Best Buy associate said next time for big ticket purchases like this buy the service plan because they will just replace the fridge with a brand new one. Lesson learned. Also, the service tech did state that LG compressor's are notorious for failing but he did say the quality of LG fridges are much better than almost all other brands. I'm thinking "quality is better" then why are you replacing the compressor? No problems since the compressor was replaced but the hassle of servicing one of these are a pain in the behind. BUY THE EXTENDED SERVICE PLAN IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING THIS.

Looked at several models and brands. The dual ice maker and door in door sold me on this model. First time I've had stainless steel and wish this model was no fingerprint. Gave that up for the dual ice maker and very happy.

This refrig. was our first option, but it ended up being the better one. We had a Samsung but it was junk. Had a tech out here 4 tines and that was it. He suggested the LG. and with the extra ice maker it has been great.

Nice looking fridge. Love the double doors for the fridge. The freezer just started making a bit of noise after a month. Not sure if that door seals completely??

Love the door that opens for convenience items without opening the big doors to wwhole refrigerator. Slide out door for freezer with convenient slide out shelf is so practical. So glad the salesman showed me this model.

I'm so happy that i bought this one ...with my old fridge, i was throwing food every other day ... my new fridge is very quiet ... well lit ... keeps fruits and veggies fresh longer ... plenty of room in the refrigerator.

I searched & compared refridgerators for months before deciding on this make & model. So far, I'm loving everything about this model. Lots of storage cubbies & compartments to make food organization a breeze.

Everything is fine so far. Only had the unit in a few days. No obvious surprises. Seems like a nice refrigerator. We weren't sure we'd be OK with the freezer in a drawer vs a side-by-side but we can tell already this isn't the possible inconvenience that we were concerned about. The refrig and freezer temperatures as set on the door are exactly what is being read on our stand alone freezer thermometers. Installation will necessarily vary with every case, but our installers were just perfect. Very careful with the unit and our house as they did their work. Zero collateral damage....not even handprints. Thorough explanation of the refrigerator operation. From bad experience that last time around, not LG, did buy the 5-year protection plan.

Love the size and bottom drawer freezer. I can now find everything I need much faster then my old refrigerator. Love the crushed ice dispenser and the door-in-door is great for the kids to get those things they like to use frequently.
