Luckily we purchase the extended 5 year geek squad warranty. They got us a new fridge (same brand and compressor type) for a small fee and covered 200 dollars in food (standard reimbursement). If you buy this type of fridge, get the extended warranty. It could cost you thousands if you don’t...

I also wanted the freezer on the bottom. I have only had it a couple weeks but so far all is good. Only complaint is that the inside cover on the door-in-door comes unlatched easily and swings open. I am afraid it will get broken someday. Thinking about taping it shut. I like how the French doors open up to see inside the whole refrigerator and the LED lighting. I would give 5 stars but I haven't had it very long. In the past, I have had a lot of trouble with LG washing machines.

The door in door feature is a treat. We love being able to just open the outside to grab drinks.

This fridge with the extra door in the front, TWO ice makers and tons of freezer space is AWESOME. Love it.
