junk compressor failure 2yrs paid for labor to repair. 6yrs 6mo. failed again poor quality and poor customer service want a reciept with only the one appliance when orig had 3 aapliance on it

I purchased this as an open box item last week. It was delivered yesterday. About 3 hours after delivery the refrigerator part stopped working and an error showed on the door. We supposedly have a warranty but the store GM says we can pay out of pocket for the repair on our brand new, just delivered refrigerator, have it replaced with an in-box lesser unit, or pay an extra $500 for the same model in-box. I would not recommend this item. Worse is Best Buy's customer. I have never written a negative review before but this is insane. I will be returning this but the GM doesn't seem to care that he sold a broken item, won't work to fix it and doesn't care about all my family's food that has spoiled. Never shopping at Best Buy again.

Purchased frig. July 2016 and freezer stopped working 18months later. Not only that but the ice melted and leaked into the control unit. I will say I like the lay out of the fridge with the door-in-door. Temp in fridge seems to stay constant and cools products quickly. Thankfully I purchased extended warranty from BB.

Lots of space for bothe fridge and freezer. The easy access door make it convenient for drinks.

Make sure someone in your area can service this fridge before you buy! I waited 2 months to get my fridge repaired after only having it for 7 months. Lg customer service is terrible!

I purchased this fridge because I liked the features and style. I wish I had read reviews. I have owned now for approximately 18 months and the compressor went bad on the freezer. Fortunately, I did have an extended warranty from Geek Squad. the repair is covered but waiting for parts and service took a little over a week. Frankly, I think there is some support to the quality concerns others are saying regarding LG products.

Purchased this and worked fine for about 3.5 to 4 yrs without issues with just regular air and water filter changes. One day though out of nowhere it decided to not cool (refrigerator and freezer). Hundreds of dollars worth of food wasted, frozen items thawed and ruined. Horrendous product and it appears that after reading numerous complaints about this particular model, LFXS29766S, it appears to be a known issue. LG needs to get in touch and get this sorted out. Horrible experience with this product.

Reliability of this unit is awful. At just 15 months of ownership, the freezer computer system failed and it costs $330 to fix. This December, after owning the unit for 26 months, the entire refrigerator shut down. Service call revealed the compressor is totally shot. (the compressor with the 10 year warranty) It has been over 1 month and the refrigerator still hasn't been fixed. We paid $3,000 for this refrigerator,,,Strongly recommend against this brand.

We bought this refrigerator 2 and a half years ago and are awaiting the serviceman to come and replace the compressor. Lost $500 in food.

Ive had this fridge 5 days Ive dumped the ice every day but the Ice still taste horrible. The bottom ice is fine, its the top ice that taste like mildew

3 failures of the mechanics and part of an LG class action lawsuit. I had to purchase a garage fridge and we've recieved a total of $250 in restitution for over $500 in lost food. Purchased a new fridge on the 24th of Dec 21 after owning this for 4 years and having nothing but issues.

we had this LG fridge 3 year ago, at first the ice maker is stop working and then freezer get warmer......now it is a LG room temperature food storage, i called a repairman come to look at it, he said it's something(main part) is leaking and he is not recommend to fix it. bc it will cost a lot of money and the same issue will happen again

No warning or sign. It's compressor stopped working.

This large fridge exceeds our expectations and we are very satisfied after a couple of months.

Love everything about this fridge. Ive only had it for about two weeks but extremely satisfied.

Great fridge until it quit cooling after 2.5 years. Had compressor replaced and still wouldn't keep cool enough to freeze ice. Replaced with another brand.

I usually don't write reviews, but now having issues with our 2nd refrigerator (in 3 years) it was a must to provide feedback to others considering purchasing this type of refrigerator. The first model (LFXS32766) only lasted a year until the compressor went out and was not repairable. The current unit (LFX31945) is now on it's 3rd service call this year alone with the same issue. I do recommended, if you decide to purchase this unit to get the extended warranty either through LG or (Best Buy - Geek Squad) to not have to worry about the costs of repairs. The first refrigerator replacement (under warranty) didn't even cover the cost of the replacement unit that we needed to pay. If this unit is required to be replaced, it won't be an LG. It unfortunate since we like all the features it provides.

This refrigerator did not make it five years; truly terrible quality.
