I spent awhile reading reviews one a few different all in one portable bluetooth speakers. Finally a sale, a great sale two of my 3 shiny stars the LG and a sony both relatively comparable. I went for the LG mostly for price because LG And Sony were close in specs. Upon setup,lights were cool and many choices for your mood. But when it came to what speakers do, make sound I was very underwhelmed,sound quality was marginal, bass boost was there but lacked the resonance bass is known for. Finally for 220watts the max volume was anticlimactic. Im sorry LG but this was a fail, I should have went with the Sony.

Aesthetically I like how this speaker looks, size, shape and being all black. The LG FJ5 packs 2 5 1/4 inch speakers and 2 tweeters. It is also 220w which packs some punch. It is a powered bluetooth speaker meaning it has to be plugged in to operate. That does limit its portability but for me this will be used at home anyways during house parties and cookouts so thats fine it also weighs in at a little over 20 lbs but at least I dont have to worry if its charged. The speaker also comes with a remote. You have all your controls on top of the speaker along with a rotary volume knob. If you lay this speaker horizontally it goes into stereo mode and if you stand it up vertically it goes into mono. The speaker also has Karaoke effects and a 1/4" mic input that you can use to sing Karaoke. It also has rca inputs in the back. The FJ5 gets LOUD and stays pretty clear at high volumes. It does have sound presets just wish I could adjust it manually but the presets are sufficient. It also has colored led lights that light up the speakers to enhance your listening experience and give you that club vibe for your parties. I cant wait to use this speaker during the summer for parties to impress my friends with its looks and sounds!

Setup is quick and easy for LG - Dual 5-1/4" Powered Wireless 2-Way Speaker. It came with LG FJ5 Speaker, Power Cable, manual, Remote and batteries. I was able to connect my iPhone using Bluetooth. I was amazed with sound quality from this speaker and it is very clear and filled the entire room. There are lot of controls on the top to adjust speaker volume, mic volume, karaoke specific features, audio enhancement modes. The remote is very handy to do the same settings away from the speaker. This is not battery powered speaker and must be connected with an outlet. This speaker is really good for karaoke. There is a microphone port (1/4" inch) to connect a mic for karaoke. There is an option to suppress vocals during the song for karaoke. This speaker can be used vertical and horizontal and it will change automatically to mono (vertical mode) to stereo (horizontal mode). Another cool feature is multicolor LED lights. There are lot of options to change the LED colors based on mode. The sound quality is great from this speaker and it is perfect add on for karaoke setup.

This 2-way speaker from LG is truly a beast and I have had a lot of fun with it. It works through Bluetooth, L/R aux inputs, and USB thumb drive. I have been able to pair multiple phones to the speaker and even enable a wireless party chain that allows multiple people to add their song to the playlist without having to disconnect a primary device and reconnect to another one which is really awesome. The light patterns aren't too crazy and you can really do without them but they're there and they add a little more flare. The speaker is also a karaoke machine and can be controlled through the app or with the physical buttons on the speaker unit. You can change the key of the song or change your voice completely as if you had just inhaled helium or want to sound like a robot for whatever reason. There are a lot of neat tricks with the karaoke mode and I had so much fun using it by connecting my microphone to the unit. The sound quality is also phenomenal and the bass is incredible. Clear crisp audio with a punchy bass is more than I could ask for.

the speaker was not as loud as I expected. other than that volume it was a nice speaker.

This is a great BIG Bluetooth speaker that LG has added to its spring line up of audio. The speaker has robust features such as: • Easy pairing-I paired the LG speaker with my HP Omen Desktop seamlessly • Karaoke • LED lights • 2- 5 ¼ subwoofers • 220 watts of power • Tilt sensor that offers the ability to be displayed both vertical and horizontal The sound on this device is decent. It falls a little short in bass as I have the Sony V11, which is approximate to this speaker in size, but have almost double the bass (470 watts). Additionally, I love the fact this speaker has the ability to daisy link as I have a few of Sony’s devices such as the XB41, XB21, as well as the V11 to add this feature on to.

Unfortunately I had to return it because it didn't work, it went out! But the product and attention at Best Buy was great

I've been enjoying this speaker, as it is so powerful. It has lots of bass, mids, and highs. You can plug in a USB, or use the bluetooth options. You can even just plug your device right into it. You can also charge your phone if you need to. It's heavy, that's my only gripe. Other than that, it's a must have for entertainment.

WOW! Great Sound. What's in the box: LG FJ5 Speaker, Power Cable, Remote + batteries, Instruction Leaflet. While this is billed as a Karaoke Speaker it doesn't come with a Microphone. Which is a bit of a miss. I didn't get this for Karaoke function, but to have a good speaker for summer to pump tunes onto the deck. Sound is amazing. Really solid and rich tones with a good heavy bass. A couple of things that might help you if you buy this. The manual that comes with the speaker doesn't give details on how to use Bluetooth. To use Bluetooth you switch to it using the F function on the top of the unit or using the included remote. The pairing process is press F until the LCD screen on the FJ5 says Bluetooth, then go into your phone, go to bluetooth and start pairing. . I don't know if you really need the app, there's a an LG Music Flow app for IOS that I found but it doesn't seem to do anything. You can turn the lights off and there are also various mood tones for the lights (as you go to turn the lights off it has different color patterns). Very happy, great speaker for summer to put outside to pump out tunes. It's not weather/waterproof but does make for a great speaker.

I plugged it in, read the manual and in minutes was listening to tunes. This speaker is LOUD! I am “DJing” a friends party with this on Friday and I can’t wait to see how it performs. It’s sold out now but if you can get one of these for 100 or under it’s a screaming bargain.

Well maybe not rock in the city but I definitely rock my condo. This thing is amazing with tremendous sound and maybe it's not a good thing but you will get the cops called on you if you play this thing at full blast even if it's the middle of the day. It's that loud with quality sound.
