We are quite happy with the LG sound bar that is paired with our new LG TV. It gives you various sound options depending on what you are watching or listening to. Such as...cinema, voice pro, music, bass blast, sports. etc. While often streaming music, we have found the sound to be nicely balanced. We find this item to deliver great sound for a price that is within reason, for our purposes.

Our LG Eclair 3.0 soundbar is perfect for our family room. The smaller size fit nicely under our TV and the quality of the sound is just perfect. I would recommend it for the clarity, size and for the price.

Sound is great and allows for many options. Also used the HDMI port for our set top box. Controls are easy. Our tv room is medium sized but it fills the room.

I'm sure it is a great soundbar, but we didn't need it. The Geek Squad said that the couch is so close to the TV that we would have more than enough sound. They were right! I thought every new TV required a soundbar. I'm sure the salesperson did not realize how small our house is. Downstairs, we have medium/large family room and we have a soundbar. It sounds like movie theater quality sound. We love it. If you sit fairly close to the TV, you probably don't need a soundbar. Rating 5.

Given its small size and lack of a dedicated subwoofer, it performs ok. However, it is quite temperamental; out of the blue, it'll lose connection with my LG G2 TV. We have to do power reset to get it back online again.

Very good speaker the bass doesn’t over power the sound and the Dolby Atmos capability with a PS5 is awesome! Also there is a mobile app that helps with the EQ and now it sounds how I like! It’s worth the money and is a fine edition to my home

I was very excited to purchase this unit. I was hoping it would be exactly what I needed. An all in one sound bar and a moderate size. It was advertised as having a good bass tone. To be honest, the TV speakers on my high sense a six sounded just as good. Sometimes even better. This is not a cheap sound bar so I really don’t understand why it doesn’t have better sound and a larger sound field with greater depth. Very disappointed, I returned the item.

I was initially excited to add this soundbar to my LG OLED C3 to uplevel its sound. But after trying every possible connection and setting to improve the sound I finally give. Folks I’m a musician who has also been in tech for a few decades now so I know my way around technology and sound. This soundbar was a huge disappointment and I honestly gave it a good solid week run. Using HDMI eARC with AI pro settings (TV Speakers + Soundbar) -Audio was flat on most movies and shows -Had a real struggle hearing voices despite trying every audio setting -Volume levels without soundbar at comfortable listening levels was around 10-15 but with soundbar had to increase to around 25-35 to really hear anything -Switching between TV apps to Xfinity box would cause a noticeable delay before soundbar audio would kick in The addition of this soundbar was a complete downgrade to the TV audio. I could write more about this product but let’s just stay with the big lowlights. Honestly folks, save yourself the struggle and go with a different brand. LG makes some incredible OLED TVs but their soundbars need better engineering. Hope this review saves someone out there some serious frustration and heartburn.

I am using this on a older tv in conjunction with an Apple TV, originally had just been using the TV speakers as its an older tv back when they actually put at least a pair of 5w speakers in the panel. Recently its started to sound like I've blown those little fellas out so it was time to get something in place to make it sound better. I routed my apple tv to the HDMI in, and then used the ARC to connect to the tv. This soundbar provided a dramatic improvement on the quality and volume of sound I am able to get out of the current set-up so I am happy about that. It supports higher end codecs like Dolby Atmos, however be aware you will not be receiving a true dolby atmos experience due to the limited number of speakers you are dealing with. It will absolutely sound better than anything built into your TV and works exactly as intended over ARC/eARC and integrate with your TV's remote so you dont have to sit with multiple remotes in your lap. My main complaint is that this simply doesn't get as loud as you would expect. I think some of this has to do with the content you watch as at times I am watching with it around ~30% volume, then for certain movies and shows I find myself cranking it up to almost 80% to get a good experience. This could perhaps be due to the apple TV passing sound to the soundbar but at the same time it is a dramatic difference and I don't see a way to fix this other than just tolerating it. This also does not have a separate subwoofer, it is all incorporated into the soundbar. While they advertise a reasonable amount of peak watts for this soundbar it just doesn't seem to deliver on that. I have a JBL wireless speaker that can provide more punch than this. Connectivity options are good, ranging from being a wifi speaker to being able to connect to a tv via an old optical cable. So this is a good entry level soundbar for folks that may still be using their internal tv speakers, but leaves a bit to be desired to anyone who has experience with soundbars that include a dedicated sub or those that have heard a traditional surround sound system.
