This is an excellent phone. For me, the size hits the sweet spot. The screen is big and beautiful but the phone doesn't feel ginormous in my average sized female hands. I can operate this phone one handed in all operations except texting. The specs of this phone are impressive. The six core processor and 3 gigs of ram handle everything I've thrown at it in terms of multi-tasking, gaming, and streaming video. The genuine leather back is beautiful and functional (because it's removable) and it's vegetable tanned which makes it slightly more environmentally friendly. I have been joking that my phone even smells good. This phone has the best camera I've used (including stand alone cameras) and that is saying something. The curved screen is beautiful and functional, and it actually aids in one handed use. The screen's resolution and color saturation are gorgeous. So that is all of the good but I couldn't give it a five star rating for two reasons: First, the battery life is average at BEST. I am a power user and have to charge during the day which is really annoying. Second: this phone for some reason isn't playing well with the chrome browser, so I had to use firefox which is my second choice for mobile browser. This could be the phone or it could be a bug with the chrome app. In spite of the dismal battery, this phone is a fantastic all around phone and I highly recommend it.

I had a Galaxy S4 and was originally going to upgrade with a Samsung Galaxy S6 but kept hearing that the battery life in the new phone was terrible and to make it worse, the battery was not replaceable. I purchased the LG G4 a few days ago and WOW. The display is big and really gorgeous, The irony here is so far the battery life has been FANTASTIC, at least twice as good as my old Galaxy S4 but I'll keep a spare battery ready just in case. I also like being able to just double tap on the screen to wake up the phone, instead of fumbling for a button.

Sprint is the worst company and the phone is just a victim.

Coming from Galaxy S4, I was waiting for the S6. Then it came out without and SD slot and removable battery and the phone search was back to square one. Learning most phones were doing without these features, I even considered making a change from android back to iOS iPhone. After much indecision and research I chose the G4. I'm glad I did it's a great phone! Its quick and intuitive.I like the size and display. The smart keys make opening the camera (which is amazing BTW) super easy. The battery charges fast and last a solid full day, even with heavy internet use. I am so happy with this phones performance and that I didn't have to compromise on any the features I care most about.

From the original Droid, I have been a Motorola Guy. I decided to switch over to T-Mobile to save a little money and was upset that they only offered one Motorola Phone. So I decided to try this guy. OMG It blew me away. The camera with it's manual features is so easy to use and the 1.8 focal length lens is the best in the industry. The Battery life is good. I can go most of the day with light to medium use, but I do have a second battery if i run out of juice. I also must say I like the position of the power button. It's right my finger is when I am holding the phone and it makes it easy if I want to take a screen shot as well. My only complaint is the back is bowed from side to side, meaning if i lay it on a desk and want to touch the screen, it wobbles. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PHONE. Motorola, You better kick up your game, :)

I bought this phone for my son and it completely died about 6 months ago and Sprint replaced it for free due to a manufacture recall but now it died again last week and sprint will no longer replace it. It is now a very expensive brick and I'm not happy at all. Google LG G4 and you will see all the problems now with it. Do not buy this phone!

This phone has what I feel is THE best camera in the mobile world. The screen may be LCD but the improvements made are not to be looked over and while a hexacore (6 core) processor and not an octocore, it is as snappy as the S6 in real world usage plus the curve and rear buttons are super comfy once you get used to them!

I think this is a good phone, it looks new and modernized design. But the only thing I don't like is that the back is leather. I like the mettalic grey LG G4.

Had the phone just over 2 weeks , its okay I needed removable battery and sd card so this was my only choice the camera is great but that's it , it has an IR blaster that barley works and the gps on the phone is off alot if the time I have 3 g4s and all the same but its a decent phone , having the leather has some draw backs a lot of cases won't fit it outter box especially but a new back is cheap online

After using the international version of this phone(H815) since before launch, I can see why LG was giving away extra batteries. This phone eats through them! This is the only let down to an otherwise great flagship phone. Quick Charge 2.0 is very nice as well. Great call quality and media playback features.

I bought the first phone one month and 2 days before it stopped working completely. Two days past the time that Best Buy would offer to switch for a new one. But because I had insurance the Geek Squad would switch it out for a referbished one. I wasn't happy about that but, better that than no phone. They send me a phone with no return shipping box and it too does not work. I charged it up once and then was never able to get it to come back on. Terrible! I take it to the store where I find out that it is actually a NEW phone that they sent me. So, two new phones that have malfunction is less than 6 weeks time. Needless to say, I ended up buying a different model and brand of phone. Luckily, the manager at Best Buy allowed me to return and purchase another type of phone. I remain faithful to the store but, not LG:(

Bought a LG G4 smartphone in August 2015. The battery will now discharge in about one hour and the phone gets hot (December 2015). I called the LG service number and the girl said I needed to do a factory reset. She walked me through that and it locked my phone. So now I call and am told it will have to be sent in for repair. Ok sent the phone in and today I get it back. Believe it or not it is now doing the exact same thing as it was when sent in for repair (although it has been "repaired"). So now I call back and am told it will have to be sent in for another review. I ask to speak to a manager or supervisor and remain on the line waiting for 30 minutes and no luck with that. All I can say is think long and hard before purchasing this phone or any other with quality and service like this!!

I purchased my G4 in June 2015 and loved it from the beginning - great design and screen resolution, cleaner user interface than the Samsungs I've used. I also appreciate that LG has decided to stick with expandable memory and removable batteries. Unfortunately though, mine's been plagued with reliability issues. In September, it would hang and/or reboot unpredictably, so I shipped it back to receive a replacement. The replacement worked well until late April when it went into a permanent boot loop. Incidentally, the G4 replaced a G2 that was similarly "wonky." Fortunately, I had the Geek Squad protection plan, so when Best Buy sent me a check for the replacement value of the G4, I decided not to get a G5, but to go in a different (non-LG) direction. Bottom line: Love the phone, hate the reliability.

Phone seemed OK, but one day it just stated reboot and never finished. After trying lots of things then phone would not boot up. The folks at Sprint were helpful but couldn't make it go. Talked to LG and sent the phone in as it was under warranty. Got the phone back in a about 10 days and guess what.. It still won't power on. IT doesn't even show battery percentage if plugged in. Will be sending back again to LG.

Thinking of getting it for vlogging not really sure

Purchased this phone (silver/gray) about 6 months ago because my HTC One failed several times. Am so sorry I did too! At first it would lock up several times a day and restart. As of today, it is completely dead! I'm switching to an iphone today!

I purchased an LG G4 Jun 2015. As of Sep 2105, the charging port has become loose and it is difficult to charge the phone. Also a second phone Galaxy S6 charging port was broken with a week of purchase. Purchased two phones 2 yrs ago, both charging ports are intact. Maybe there was a change in manufacturer, but it will cost $200 to replace.

Not working very well. Dont know if I will get another one by LG.
