Great back up battery. Can even charge other phones as well.

The LG G5 has phenomenal battery life on its own already. Having an extra battery in your pocket to swap in at a moment's notice is astounding. A friend was bragging about how fast his Samsung charges. He can't compete with 0 to 100% in a few seconds. The desktop charger for the battery is great as well and when you put the two together, you can plug other items into it and use the combo like it is an external battery pack. That is a win-win scenario.

Great as a take along battery I would recommend it.

Being able to charge up and swap out the battery is a no brainer for owners of the LG G5. If you don't get this you're wasting the potential, not to mention the entire point, of the LG G5. The dedicated button on the G5 allows the battery to slide out and detach from the unit, swap it out with the spare one from this set and you're good to go.

Makes a good external battery source for any phone

Get the extra(2nd) battery for the LG G5. You have 1 battery charging while you are using your phone. When your phone battery gets very low, easily remove the battery and install the 100% charged battery! You don't have to wait for your battery to charge when you swap batteries, much UNLIKE recent past smart phones. Definitely make sure your LG G5 has 2 batteries when you buy it as it is a HUGE benefit of the phone!!!!

Everything isn't always great when it's free but this is. Everyday when I wake up I switch batteries and leave the dead one to charge and follow the same routine every day. It's very convenient. My only concern, which may be nothing, is I hope that continuously opening the battery module doesn't loosen whatever keeps the module in place on the phone. It may be nothing but otherwise this is great

For me, one of the main reasons to purchase the G5 was the ability to replace the battery. So it was a no-brainer to get this accessory, when as a promotion, it was included for free with the G5 purchase! It's certainly nice to have an extra OEM battery, the charging cradle, and the USB-C adapter to allow use of your older phone's USB cables with the G5's new style port.

As a bonus for pre-ordering the LG G5, I received the charging cradle and additional battery along with the USB type-c adapter. The battery cradle is compact and can be used to charge another device if need be. It has USB type A connection which allows you 2 plug other USB powered products in to it. It works perfectly for keeping the spare battery charged and ready to go.

I wasn't expecting to walk out of BB with a new phone, but there was a BOGO offer and a free extra battery/charger for the LG G5. Having had a G3 at that time and knowing the G5 had an even better camera, I went for it. Upon receiving this accessory, I was surprised to see the batter and extra charger doubled as a portable USB charging device. Ingenious.

When LG was competing with Samsung, they pretty much matched the spare battery charging experience of their biggest competitor. Now that they stand alone as the only mainstream flagship with a removable battery, they've gotten original and added the feature where you can use the external battery to charge other phones and accessories. How cool is that?

Great charger. A great extra to the LG G5 I purchased especially since it came free! The cord may be used for other devices like some harmony remotes to connect to a computer. Nice having an extra battery supply. The charging box has a USB connector which I'm assuming you can connect some other device to, to get battery to power another item.

I received this charger free with the purchase of my G5. It also came with an extra battery and a micro usb to usb c adapter. Its a great charger that charges very fast. It also has a usb port for other charging cords, but won't charge a battery and another phone at once. Still great to have two batteries for everyday.

This cradle is amazing. I purchased the G5 mainly due to the ability to remove the battery, which is great by the way. The cradle has charging indicator lights to let you know when the battery is fully charged and is extremely easy to carry around. Fast charge and love having a backup battery if I need it.

An extra battery for your cellphone is never a bad idea, this item comes free with the G5 purchase, Haven't used it, but I think is a nice bundle for traveling.
