I have two phones andines and both phones stop working teo weeks after purchase

I picked up the G5 for my wife and she loves it. Smooth and snappy transitioning through everything very fast with no lag at all even when on the Sprint network. We were watching videos on You Tube from the Voice for over an hour in 1080p and it never missed a beat using LTE ! The screen could stand to be a little brighter but it is still a beautiful 2560x1440 2k screen. She has not complained about the brightness just something I noticed. The speaker on this phone is one of the loudest and fullest I have ever heard on a phone. It even has bass although mid range bass it very full compared to all the Samsung phones I have had and it is even louder than my LG V20. She absolutely loves it and she has had the S3, Note 2, Note 3 and a Note 4 to compare it to. This phone is a steal at the current price of $5 a month. That comes out to $120 over 24 months ! I only had to pay $9.90 in taxes to get out of the door for this phone !

Don't buy this phone. It was the worst product referred by a best buy rep.

Died after less than a day. Bot it at 9ipm. and it died next morning.

I was hesitant to purchase this phone since the G6 is almost out, but I figured for the price you cannot beat it. I could not be happier. The performance is still GREAT. Zero lag with any task I have thrown at it. I personally like the way it looks over most of the competition too. This is my first LG and I would definitely consider LG in the future.

This phone is a fairly good unit. Pros: -Fast Charge through the USB-C. Takes about an hour or two from 20% to fully charge. -Good Solid Feel - Aluminum housing -Response time is good - I immediately made myself a developer on this phone and did a few mods to really help boost the speed by lowering the amount of animations going on during transitions from screen to screen -Wide View Camera - Really nice when taking pictures for a better view - very similar to a fish eye lens on a digital camera - Removable battery - this is what got me off my S3 because someone still makes a phone with a replaceable battery! - Expandable storage - always a plus Cons: - Can't Talk & Surf the net at the same time without using Wifi - I previously had a Samsung S3 that was still working but getting slow. I could talk on the phone and look something up for them while I was discussing the issue. Not been a major hassle yet, but I know it will get frustrating at times. - Cell Service Not as Good - My old phone over 3 years old and had better service in the exact same spots. I do have issues with loosing service where I sit at work every day. Also, common spots in low places on the road I loose service....pretty annoying I have to admit. I'm not sure if this is the difference between a metal housing and plastic housing or simply the quality of the antenna, but GUARANTEED NOT AS GOOD SIGNAL AS OLD PHONE. All in all I'll stick with this phone, but I may go back to Samsung when I'm up for a new upgrade. I'm bummed about the two cons I've mentioned....

This phone has alot of glitches it has a horrible battery life ,Im glad I have the battery pack with the extra battery . It has the best camera,and nice resolution . The camera cover broke after only 2 weeks with an Otterbox on it made of cheap materials. I had the lg g3 it was a much better phone with exception to the camera. If you play games on your phone this aint the phone for you. If you do decide to purchase get the battery pack cause the battery lasts about 11 hours with light usage.

This phone has a high resolution selfie camera and back camera. It has a super amoled HD display, higher than the iPhone displays. And it has the perfect screen size

I absolutely am in love with this phone. The camera quality is amazing and I love the battery life on. I can have my phone from 11am and not have to charge it until 6 or 7pm and on top of that having the cradle I rarely ever have to physically charge my phone just swap out the battery so I'm always hands free.

This phone is WORTHLESS! First issue is the power button STOPPED working only a couple weeks after I got it but I figured I could deal with it until I really needed a replacement (BIG MISTAKE). At first it wouldn't recognize my finger print, then it wouldn't turn the phone on or off at all. If I want my phone on, what do I do? I have to have the charger with me so I can hold the volume button down and then do some mumbo jumbo to get it on. Google this issue, it is VERY COMMON! Second issue was the bottom piece. It decided one day that it didn't want to stay on so of course it fell off one day and I couldn't find it. Sooo I went to GEEK SQUAD.... Since the phone has a crack in the screen from dropping it ONE TIME (Plus this issue was going on before I dropped it). They want to charge me $199 to replace it... I could go on Ebay and get a new one for the same price so what's the point of Geek Squad?! This phone is such a piece of trash. Seriously, google "power button issues on the LG G5" and you'll see.

great phone just have to uses to the size which is a little bigger than my s5 and the button in the back. i bought two. should have bought another for the price.

I really like that this has the expandable memory slot and if the battery is removable. Main issue is that battery compartment does not align perfectly, leaving sharp edges. Not as much of a concern with case on, but irksome with case off.

Phone quit working after only 3 weeks. I tried to exchange it at best buy and they said I only had 14 days to exchange it. Then I Tried to go trough lg's website like they tell you to when you call customer service to get the phine repaired and the site was down for service. I tried to call 2 more times and they had over a 2 hour wait each time. So over the next 2 days I try the website a couple more times and the live chat service still had a ridiculous wait time. I finally get ahold of someone and they tell me all they will do is try to repair the phone their warranty does not cover replacement. So reluctantly I send it in for repair after 4 weeks and no loaner I finilly get the phone back and the bottom has been replaced with a used 1 and there is marker drawn all over it. Also the phone was like brand new when I sent it in I get it back all scratched up. As if all this wasn't bad enough I now only have a 90 day warranty on a phone that has been repaired. I call customer service again to complain about the condition of my phone and the lack of warranty. The customer service guy just keeps telling me there's nothing we can do. I ask to talk to a manager and he says you will have to call back later there isn't 1 available. Worse customer service I have ever received. I will never purchase another lg product and I use to like their products till this experience.

The bottom piece of the unit I got does not actually close properly, leaves huge gap. Open yours and make sure everything is OK before leaving if you *must* get this phone (it is very cheap), dealing with LG warranty is a huge pain and very unpleasant

I'm definitely liking this phone. Every smart phone I've had was a Samsung so this is a great change, and I love the color!

Great price from best buy my so loves his new phone

I bought this phone as an update for my annual phone upgrade. It works Great. Would suggest to buy a case!!!

Everything works well except BlueTooth. Takes forever to pair with my laptop or old phone, then won't communicate at all -- can't send or receive files or use bluetooth aps. It's 2016. Why can't this work out of the box??
