I am a fan of LG, but this is not as good a phone. Lock screen is wacky and fingerprint does not work all the time. Like the overall software though. Just disappointed it did not make any great improvements.

Got this phone for my son and he loves it. College kid with a busy lifestyle! He said it's the best phone he's ever had! I liked it because it offered a lot of great features and it was a great price!

The G5 is a couple steps back from the g3 IMHO, the battery is not good, GPS doesn't pick up signal and talk quality is low... I wish I would have got the v10

I am a android guy for life this phone is great overall despite battery life. The dual camera is great for pictures. You gotta love the 360 camera effect. HD voice talk is super cool!!

I bought two of these for my parents, they each needed and upgrade, and Best Buy had these for $1 each with contract renewal. They shipped fast and were incredibly easy to activate.

It's a great phone, not to heavy like other smartphones. Only problem that's come up is while my niece is watching videos the speaker sometimes doesn't work other than that good phone.

I bought this for my spouse and wish I had one myself. I have an iPhone6 with all the bells whistles, but this LG5 is better still.

Love it! Saw the tv commercials and thought they were hilarious. This replaces my HTC one phone.

This is one very capable Android device. Oh, and it's a phone, too. ;) Blazing fast, with enough hardware to allow quite a bit of multitasking and no lag. I've had QSlide apps running in the foreground, a game on hold in the background AND music playing, all at once and it never broke a sweat. No lag, no hesitation and a nearly instantaneous fingerprint scanner/reader for secure access. Oh, and charging the battery? Insane. With QuickCharge 2.0, you can have a full battery in about 1.5 hours, roughly, but with QuickCharge 3.0, you can be at 100% in 60-70 minutes, sometimes less! As for the modular design and swappable battery? First off, thanks LG! Love it! Second, I use the swappable battery more often than I thought I would. It's so much easier to just swap the battery than it is to chase down a cable to charge it with. This is one of the very few design flaws that the phone faces... USB C instead of micro USB that we've come to know and love. You'll need an adapter that converts the end piece over to fit the phone's new port. Make sure it's a certified device and make sure it has a 56k resistor built in. (Anker is a good, certified brand for this.) Call quality is stunning, video and photos are gorgeous on the quad HD display (not to be confused with 4K, they're not the same) and the screen's LED instead of AMOLED, so no worries of burn in! Cameras are incredible. Full featured suite built into the phone, incredible wide angle lens, and even the selfie cam is high on megapixels! Camcorder feature works really well and records in 60p and 120p for high speed, full HD quality that'll make your jaw drop. SD card slot for expandability! No USB OTG, however. :( My only crits are as follows: It's a bit bigger than expected. One hand usage is difficult, sometimes. We're not getting the B&O HiFi audio module in the US. Nothing extra included. No C to micro adapter, no headphones. (No headphones!!!) No water protection. (Do not get this wet, one and done.) I absolutely recommend this powerhouse beast of a phone. It's a full on entertainment center that games quite well.

This was my first smart phone and I have been very impressed in how easy it is to use.

Grate up grade from anything other than a previous lg flagship and even then its better than the previous g series.

Recently I purchase a new phone and service through Best Buy and Verizon,am please to say very happy with the whole experience,hope to have years of service.

It was a GREAT value, upgrade a phone with all the accessories for a great low price and the LG smart TV awesome!

Truthfully I'am a 30yr old man and this is my first smart phone. I really don't know much about other phones but this one is great, camera is amazing too.

Simple, easy to use android phone. Instead of spending so much money on other expensive phones, this phone does the job just as well as the rest!

I'm very pleased with this LG phone. I was a little nervous about upgrading, but I was able to get all the features that I wanted through the apps.

I've been LG for a few years and I'm really happy with the upgrade. I find the few times I actually talk on the phone it is much clearer. Enjoy!
