I thought by getting the latest version of my phone that I would enjoy greater battery life. NOT AT ALL...on some days the battery runs down to 12 to 15%; before the problems with my old phone this never happened.

I purchased this phone online to be picked up at the store. After we got home, my daughter followed the supplied instructions on how to activate the phone. Midway through transferring her data from her old phone, the new one shut down. I tried changing the battery and making certain that the SIM card was properly installed. All of this solved nothing. My next step was to call "support". I was first sent to Geek Squad by the automated system. Then I was transferred to another sales support option. I was put on an hour waiting list. I was then called back by the automated system and placed on hold for another 10 minutes. When I finally had someone that I could speak with, I was told that I really needed to speak with "Mobile Support". When I was transferred to the next person, she told me that she was not mobile support. She advised me to return the phone to the store. By the time I was told this, the store was 10 minutes from closing and I live at least 20 minutes away. The phone is no longer in stock at a store near me and the SIM cards are not interchangeable between her old phone and the new one. Her new SIM has been activated and the new phone is basically a brick. I'm frustrated with this whole process and considering calling a local news agency's consumer protection division if this doesn't get cleared up soon.

Phone has nifty features. Small battery and it doesn't last long. After a few weeks my phone started to freeze and lag.

Had phone for less than a month. Put the phone on charger one eaving and it got so hot you could barely hold it. Never came on from that point. Took it back to Best Buy and they wouldn't help. Was told to take to ATT store. Same story, wouldn't help. Ended up having to return to LG for repair. Spent close to $10,000 with Best Buy in the last year. What a way to treat a loyal customer.

I have had this phone for about 5 months and I love it. Pros: 1) very responsive, 2) IR blaster (which i use to turn on my Yamaha receiver and LG tv and can use chromecast to cast everything without moving from sofa). 3) removable battery with battery docking. I run out of battery at the end of the day and instead of waiting for phone to charge I simply just change the battery (this is absolutely with best feature). You can go on hikes or out of town and not worry about charge. I will likely not buy other accessories though - like the camera. 4) has flashlight . from previous experience with android phones i had to download app to use this feature however with LG it has icon for flashlight. after market app for flashlight always have bugs or adds . 5) SD card storage. I have stored tons of music on SD card and still have room on phone. With my Iphone 5s i was constantly deleting photos and music to make room. 6) this is the only phone on market that has SD card, removable battery, IR blaster. 7) camera is good. i believe iphone camera focus is lot better. Cons: it is metal but feels plastic. not a big con since I use cover to protect the phone. Buy a cheap cover that will allow you to use modular feature of the phone without taking the entire cover off.

Phone has great sound. Phone is fast. Camera is about the best your going to get on a cell phone right now. Removable battery is top notch. large east to see screen. Battery life is average. About standard weight for a phone of this size. Phone come with pretty much bloat ware from ATT, which is not the phones fault.

    Excellent device

The device has a solid unibody feel. The digitizer has a little bit of a plastic feel, rather than the cold glass feel you usually find on high-end devices, but the metal body more than makes up for it! Using the OEM charger, it restored about 50% of the battery in the time it took to watch an episode of Archer on Netflix. The navigation is kind of foreign. Most of it, while awkward to figure out, is pretty intuitive. The one thing that is not is the lack of app drawer. If I wanted everything stuck to the home screen, I’d buy an iPhone. Installed Nova launcher, and brought it back. Alternatively, you can get it to the “easy home screen” mode, but you lose some features. Camera is great! IR is strong. Great value all around!

Everything about this phone is good - very sleek design, metal casing, two awesome cameras on the back, a great camera on the front, removable battery and modular capabilities. LG's user interface has vastly improved also. Definitely recommend.

Previously I've had iPhones for the longest but I switched over to the LG G5. I think it's an fantastic phone. It gives the flexibility to customize the phone however you want it to unlike apple, it also gives the simplicity and ease of use so I have no trouble using an android phone coming from apple. The fingerprint button is also very good , making it easy and quick to unlock my phone. The camera is amazing, especially when used in manual mode. My battery lasts me about 5 to 6 hours before it dies but it came with extra battery upon purchasing from Best Buy.

I really like the ease of navigating this phone and the camera is a good step in when I don't have my SLR camera handy. This functionality of the phone is very good.. Had a choice between this phone and the Galaxy Note 7 and extremely glad I chose this phone.

    To many software bugs

Compared to the previous G series phones this one is not very good. There are some annoying bugs in the software. I have had all of the G series phones. This one on the software side is terrible. I have large hands since I am 6'4 and the slightly smaller screen from the G4 is a let down for me. It seems like I went back to my old Motorola atrix. The camera is great. It has a removable battery and you will need an extra. The battery life is about 3/4 day for me. I use a lot of email and phone calls but very little video or music streaming. The LG UX feels a lot like iOS which I am not a fan.

You have completed control over this phone. Easy to use. Very happy. My last phone was a S5 and this one is much better. No regrets not going to the S7
