Lasted 2,111 days / 5.8 years. I used it daily for popcorn and reheating. First impression was that is was very light and felt cheap. Its various secondary parts have actually held up much better than I expected. Likes: perfect compact size - sits atop my Ikea Kallax shelves minimalist design - 10/10 nice low price ($120 on sale in Jan 2018) stainless trim held up in ocean air that rusts everything one button touch to start at 30 seconds is handy Cooked popcorn well Nothing failed on it - light, display, turntable, buttons, hinges, latch, etc, all work flawlessly. Still cleans up well. Dislikes: controls are illegible in less than bright light the delayed reminder beeps can be infuriating mild rust in seams of interior - again, salty air ceramic, glass, and bone china too hot to touch cooking pattern uneven - always cooler in middle Major Dislike: When using the +10 sec button, 20% of the time I had issues with it randomly umping to a full 90 minutes. I caught it every time, before walking away, but it would have been concerning if there were kids using it. Died a loud, sparky death. I was microwaving some pecans when I heard a scary deep rumble from its inner bits. Popped open the door and there were sparks behind the cardboard-looking interior patch on the back right side and a light funky smell. I unplugged it and there was no further excitement. I'd heard that same deep rumble months before, but hadn't observed any sparking and I continued using it without issue until this week. After seeing sparks, I'm replacing it. I was hoping to get at least 7 years out of it. I got nearly 6. From what I've read while looking for its replacement, that seems to be in line with modern competitors After looking for a comparable replacement, there's a 50/50 chance I'm going to bring home another one. Six years of Inflation has driven its price up by $20, but on sale, it still offers an attractive price to value proposition. And 1000 Watts in its small form-factor is rare. I think you'd do well with this if it fits your needs.

Got rid of my 2o yo, still working behemoth microwave so I could have a REAL range hood. In home sales associate knows product and chose this for me. It is awesome. 1/2 the size and does so much, even defrosting. Actually defrosts better than the behemoth. Limited to a 10" plate diameter which is fine for us. Could be 5 stars across the board if I had it longer. Its less than a month old.

We absolutely had to buy this because it was the smallest size we could fit into our new custom made cabinet in our kitchen. There was nothing wrong with our old microwave other than the fact that it was too big. I have noticed that it is a little bit weaker than our old microwave (Whirlpool brand) but that totally makes sense because it’s also much smaller. It is cute at least, but we do have to leave in our food a minute or so longer than we used to for heating.
