I kind of settled on this microwave - I wanted a bigger one, but couldn't really afford it. It turns out that the size of this is totally adequate and there are about a million other things about it that make it the best microwave I've ever had. (And I have sadly had to replace them a lot.) The size is big enough to easily accommodate my largest plates, and that's good enough for me. So I was glad to learn that I don't really need one bigger than this. I've had it about 3 months now and have never had an issue with it being too small. My last one was 1200W - this one is a little less, so things do take a bit longer to cook, but it's a matter of a few seconds. I initially thought the lack of numbers on this was pretty weird, but it actually is pretty fun to slide your finger along the bar to add time. Having some of the controls inside is also a little weird, but it's fine since you have to open the door to use it anyhow. I like the sleek look of the outside and now that I've had experience with this design, I prefer it to the standard kind. One of my favorite things about this microwave is that you can start it just by pushing the start button without setting a time. When you press start, it cooks for 30 seconds. And during that 30 seconds, you can add more time either in 30-second increments by repeatedly pushing the start button or by using the + and - buttons and slider. The little jingle it plays instead of a regular beep is kind of stupid but also cute. It also doesn't upset my stupid cats - they both get upset by things that beep. The jingle plays every minute or so - for me this is a great feature because I often leave foods in the microwave to cool and I have occasionally completely forgotten things in it. The bright light inside is super cool and useful. This seemed like a meaningless feature when I made the purchase, but it actually makes a big difference when you're trying to get a good look at progress through the door. This microwave seems to have less splatter than any that I've ever used. And everything does wipe off very easily. Some of these features seemed a little gimmicky when I was comparing microwaves online, but they've all turned out to be helpful and make the microwave more fun and easy to use.

Finally a powerful small microwave. The LG is good looking, has inverter technology and sensor cooking. It holds a 12" plate which is all I'll need.

No Handles or Springs to deal with. This was a good buy.

Replacement for my parents. Perfect size and no extra bells and whistles to bother with.

This unit was only small-medium table top microwave available for purchase. Its overpriced and not easy to use without using their presets. Also, numbers arent lit so its more difficult at night. But it works and has nice bell when your item is ready.
