Most likely motor issues. Unfortunately this is the one item I didn't purchase an extended warranty. Let's see how this works out! I have a house full of LG products so maybe I'll get lucky. We did not cook anything, so this review says nothing about cooking. Two primary usability flaws: 1) NO KEYPAD to enter time (cooking or Timer). Repetitively pressing a '+' (or '-') button to add up a time, with no direct input? That'll get old fast - no thanks. The workaround is a "touch strip" on the outside. This is clumsy to use, and to be honest hard to imagine it holding up after years of being rubbed back and forth. The numeric keypad was Invented by the phone company, appears in countless products, and enjoys over 50 years of consumer acceptance and muscle memory. Why play with that? 2) Access to most controls (like presets) is INSIDE the door. Yes, you read that right. Want to use the Timer? Open the door, set it, close the door. Change your mind or want to change the Timer? Open the door... etc... etc.... Learnable? Sure, but why? Other comments: The display is crisp and bright -- as long as the DOOR IS OPEN. However LG chose to TINT the plastic door panel through which you view the display, so once the door is closed, it's not nearly as crisp and bright. If the above does not concern you, this may well be a fine oven.

I've had this for about a month now and it still smells bad. I don't know how to describe the smell besides headache inducing. Not to mention the display is frustrating to use. I miss my old reliable.
