    It's a nice looking microwave, but after only 3 years of light to moderate use, it started making horrible noises and then died. (There was no metal in it. ) And despite saying there is a 10 year warranty on the microwave, that apparently only covers SOME of the parts, and you're still responsible for the costs to get it serviced.

    We have just received our third one in 5 years. Works great. But we can't get them to last. I always purchase a warranty otherwise I would try something else. The current one lasted a few days...the panel doesn't work. LG is my favorite appliance. This microwave just will not work for us.

    Meh, regret not returning this when I had the chance. It looks nice, but literally have to overcook food for it to completely heat the food. 1 minute, would normally re heat a plate of food on my old microwave, this one needs a minimum of 2 and the food comes out piping hot and rubbery from overcooking.

    Bit annoying... the swipe to add time is 2 minutes max each swipe, no pizza button, the end ring chime is VERY annoying.... But it matches our appliances so the wife is happy, when the chime isn't going off....

    It hasn't even been a year (about 9 months) and now it sparks, buzzes, and flashes orange lights. I didn't expect this from LG so didn't even buy Geek Squad. Apparently, you have to ship it back to LG for repairs. I don't have the box or the protective foam to ship it back in, so guess that won't work. During its lifetime, it was annoying to not have a number key pad to punch in numbers. It didn't heat food evenly as it claims. It also didn't defrost evenly as it claims. But it was pretty easy to clean, just wipe it off. Except the side panel where the microwaves actually come out from. That part looks burnt and doesn't wipe off. I guess that's why it sparks.

    Beware! Don't buy this Microwave. I purchased this expensive LG Microwave for our satisfaction. But within 1 year 6 days the LG Microwave is burnt off nicely when guest was waiting on dining table. Very disturbing! Technician has to come to check the product that will cost me more money then products original value, Oh. Poor LG customer service. Good bye LG!

    Error code on first use

    Just unboxed it and tried to cook a frozen burrito. It only went for 10 seconds and then an error code F11 turns on. I tried to unplug it and plug it back in, tried heating something else, tried different settings and nothing worked. it still wouldn't heat more than 10 seconds. Looked up the error code and it's a wiring and inverter issue and send it for repair. No thank you, I'll send it back for a refund! Do not buy this microwave!

    Failed after few months - NO real Support from LG!

    We’ve had this unit for less than 6 months, lightly use it, and it already broke. Code F11. Getting any sort of help from LG is pathetically lost on me even after being looped into submitting several support tickets. I’ll never buy LG anything again. I can understand a faulty product can come up, but to not have any tangible support is what I make my determination if NO GOOD on.

    Blew up just over a year after purchase so of course the warranty is expired. Thanks for such a stellar product LG. Between this and the LG washer and dryer I bought last year, I will never buy LG anything ever again

    Started sparking

    I bought a house with this microwave in it. Used for 1.5 years when it started sparking. Since I didn't know how old it was, I bought another one. After just a few months' use the second one started doing the same thing. Definitely do not recommend
