Purchased in January 2018, a segment of the LCD display has gone bad. Warranty is expired and it isn't cost effective to repair. This type of display *should* last for years.
Too bad, as otherwise we love this microwave.

The door must be open to push the buttons for length of time for heating, with time selection limited, before closing the door to activate. Also the same food may require different times to be heated to the ideal temperature.

If but you lose your money . Before one year there is an issue . After contact with manufacturer they thermostats is not covered whereas thermostats is main component of any micro ovens . Also what is a purpose if manufacture warranty . Right way I garbage this broken microbe oven . Promise never buy LG any product in future not even allowing to buy in my friends and family

Worked well while it was working. Caught on fire after 1 year, not worth it to have to get another one so soon. The quality just doesn’t last.

Weak microwave

We received the first microwave and the front glass was shattered in the box. They shipped us a second one and we were excited. It looks really good and I like the controls. After using it we have realized it's the weakest microwave we have ever owned. We work a lot of hours and prep meals several days in advance. It takes it about twice as long to heat things as any of our previous microwaves. We definitely wouldn't buy this one again. I'm also disappointed that Best Buy only has a 15 day return policy. Most stores have a 30 day policy. Of course now we are stuck with this microwave and need to purchase another.

First one was DOA

My lovely less than 2 year old microwave by another manufacturer died on me. I ordered this one online, and it was delivered the same day (that is a whole different story). Got it out of the box, plugged it in, and nothing. Tried different outlets, nothing. Other things worked well on the outlets. Put it back in the box and took it back to Best Buy store the next day. Since it arrived DOA, I would not recommend this dead microwave.

Great looking microwave, but looks aren’t everything. This microwave I purchased to replace our old and very used microwave that still worked amazing. When this stopped heating our food, I had immediately emailed and called for tech support to help. I never was able to get my issue resolved. I do not recommend the product nor the company that manufactured this item.

Very disappointed in this loud microwave that takes too long to heat the contents of the container. The container, however, no matter what kind, is left way too hot to touch. Very strange.
Also, there is a very irritating signal that the food is heating and when it is done. Would never recommend.
