    Stopped working after just one year. Made a horrible noise and didn't heat. Sounds dangerous.

    The microwave only lasted a year. When I tried to call Best Buy for help I was assisted by someone who couldn't understand English.

    Microwave Noise

    Our microwave is 6 months old and has started making horrible sounds while cooking. It's like the microwave is going to explode. What are my options in terms of finding out what is going on and whether it can be fixed or not. I have had a number of microwaves over the past 30 years and have not experienced this type of noise.

    Wish I can take it back

    I have owned this for about 5 months now and it doesn't heat the food up, and it is very loud. Not a good choice for a microwave.

    Poor durability with LG

    I purchased this microwave in order to get reimbursed for a 4 month old microwave that quit working. The one that quit working was a replacement for a previous microwave that lasted 11 months. LG was easy to work with to get the microwaves replaced under warranty but they seem to have some serious reliability issues with their microwaves.

    Microwave not working in just 18months

    After 18months, the microwave is not working. Have to keep resetting by removing power to get it to work. Now that it is out of warranty, cannot reach out to LG as well. Disappointing.

    Failed after 2 years.

    Microwave started arcing, glowing red, and smoking 2 years after purchasing. Cost to repair after talking to LG support was greater than the cost of the microwave, in addition to wasted time. Literally trash.

    I replace it two times and it stop working within 2 month. i don't buy warranty for that reason i have to call LG for support it good though they agree to reimburses the product price. If you want to try luck don't forget to buy warranty at list for two year it will worth of money.

    Worked great until just after one year it started arcing and sparking and afraid it is going to catch on fire. The side panel has a huge burn spot on it. Only use microwave safe plates.

    Nice design and worked well while it worked. Perhaps we just selected a bad apple but with two people in the house it had pretty light use and it was kept it clean. Fortunately LG is going to stand behind their warranty.

    Stay away from this product if you want to save money and be safe. I bought one and used it normally for a year heating food and covering it to avoid splatter. This microwave is arcing!

    For $170-stopped working less than 3 months!

    Never write reviews but mad, mad, mad!! Purchased just in February based on overall rating. Today a F-11 code came up (which LG goes not put in manual) and won’t work. I know Bestbuy won’t do anything at this point and know it won’t be worth trying to get LG to replace it. Sticking to cheap Sharps.

    Worst microwave I ever bought. Lasted less than a year. I was told it came with a 10 year warranty but that is incorrect. Would never buy again.
