We’ve had this up for a few months and it’s worked great! Easy to clean and simple to use.

We had a mid size (1.3) that failed, and decided to replace it with a compact to save counter top space. Not only does it save considerable space, but it was the only one I found that had an 11.5" turntable to hold a full size dinner plate.

We loved this device for all the reasons you can read about from others in plentiful reviews. We bought it for its combo of volume, footprint, inverter tech, price point, and quality reputation. No need to repeat all the other positive reviews we would second as well. But at just under nine months, an "F-3" with beautiful extra musical tones began appearing now and then. The online advice and LG customer service says to unplug for 10 mins to reset. no problem the first couple times. But then, really? Unplug and reset every time we want to use the device? (F-3 began appearing all the time.) Worse: a small diamond (technically, a square rotated 45 degrees) with a vertical bar appeared on the display, preventing us even from setting the time after one of those unplug/resets. Toll-free customer service was quite unhelpful there. I could find ZERO desription of this fault code online and the the tech support person (he said his name was "Fred") told me that in his 5 years, he had never been able to find out from LG what that fault code was about, and his only option was to refer me to have a technician service call come look at it. (! really?) After all that, we looked it up and realized e were still under warranty. We filed service request online and rec'd immediate notice that LG would handle this problem with a "Refund". that ticket is now in process, and we expect resolution timely. But we are frustrated. We researched a LOT to ID and buy this unit. But now, oh no!!! Is this a known manufacturing or design issue that will haunt us if we bought another one of these? If LG is monitoring these comments, please reply with relevant info. I see other boilerplate replies to other reviews with "contact us ...". Well, I already did and your support could not provide more info. We *thought* it was (and *hope* it is) a great product, but we do not know anymore.

Best microwave I have ever owned. It looks nice in my kitchen and it is so easy to use, so many functions that help when you are cooking.

Really quiet for a microwave, especially compared to the GE 1.6 Cu Ft microwave I bought and returned. This one just works. It takes a little bit to get used to the controls, but my family all figured it out pretty quickly, and now we really like it. The only thing I'm not crazy about is when you need to use the power levels to cook something. The power level "button" is not very responsive compared to the normal front panel controls you use when the door is closed, but it does work. Also, the power levels work without a lot of loud switching off and on like we had with our previous microwave. All in all, we're very happy so far. I will update this review if anything changes.

Our original micowave oven from Rockwell Industries from 1965 finally bit the dust. It was more than 3X the size of LG. LG is considerably lower power. Both had a rotating plate. LG now has fancy pre programmed menus. Only complaint is that when running.... it wipes out any AM or FM radio in the kitchen. So it is leaking "some frequencies?" when operating. Checked with MicoWave meter but no leakes in the 5Gig range.

This microwave is so easy to clean and has a fantastic build quality.

Small, sleek, and works well. Make sure you disable the music. What were they thinking?

5 years later and we are still using this microwave. It sings a fun little song at the end that sticks in your head :) Even guests hum it when they hear it.

just what we needed. we wanted a smaller microwave and this one I perfect.

I replaced my 18 years old LG microwave/toaster combo with this new LG microwave and love it. The combo isn’t available anymore so I also had to buy a new toaster. This microwave is great - love the melody it plays until the food I heat up is removed. No more leaving food in the microwave. Also love the wide range of heating temps and the placement of the control buttons. LG IS THE BEST!

Love this thing. It’s small and compact and perfect.

Its small but it heats even. Its better than my old Samsung microwave that cost me twice as much.
