This microwave was my favorite for almost 2 years. Pleasant song when the timer was done, cooked well, good price and compact size. A few weeks shy of 2 years of ownership, it made a loud buzzing noise and started internally sparking (not the area where the food sits, behind the metal shield) within 2 seconds of turning on. It wasn’t because of anything I put inside of it- it was a bowl that is microwave safe and has been used before with 0 issues in the unit, and chocolate chips. Thank GOD I didn’t turn my back like I usually do when I multitask in the kitchen, this unit is a HUGE fire hazard! I am so disappointed we did not get the warranty when we bought this. What a waste of money and a waste of the materials that now must be disposed of because the unit is unsafe to run. Do not buy!!!!!

The compact size was great for the space I needed however, it started on fire after five years. The back light on the display is very hard to see and read. It also tripped the power often I would not suggest and I would not buy again.

Worked great, was easy to clean, and looked nice from 2018-4/2023 then it started on fire and cause a huge *^*+storm.

We bought this microwave 9 months ago and it has been fine. Nothing too spectacular, but seemed to work well enough. We only use it occasionally and wanted something that wouldn’t take up too much space on the counter but could still fit a bag of popcorn. This microwave seemed to fit the bill, but then out of nowhere it just stopped working. It still rotated and made the noises (including the annoying jingle at the end) like it was cooking but the food came out just as frozen as when it went in. I had my last microwave for 10+ years so was shocked that this one didn’t even last a full year. Would not buy again.

This is a great small microwave. We needed it for a tight spot and it worked out great. It is not as powerful as the one it replaced but the space saving is worth it.

I love this item. Its quiet and it gets the job done. I ordered online and was ready for pickup in minutes. Arrived, they greeted me at the door and was out in minutes. They made me feel valued as a customer.

For a long time my whole family has this microwave and it has come out very good and best of all that it doesn't have buttons only screen I love it

Pros: compact & looks slick, works great Cons: developed a constant buzzing noise even when not in use, hard for little-kid fingers to operate the touch screen

just the right height, and cooking power, i,e,. our old MCoven took one minute to cook five pieces of bacon. This LG neochef only took forty seconds,

Had no issues and overall impressed with it. Owned it for several years at this point.

This works amazingly! Have had for over a year and no issues what’s so ever! Easy set up, easy instructions!

I had an LG one for a long time, this new one works well, but it causes static on my AM radio where the older one did not. Also having a problem setting the clock.

I liked the sleek design but found the controls less convenient than any other microwave. I bought this oven in February 2018, and the digital LED time display partly burned out in December 2019. The estimated repair cost was almost as much as a new microwave, so I turned off the clock display and have to put up with the hard-to-read numbers for cook time until I trash this remarkably unreliable appliance.

Like the slick design but I prefer the functions on the outside. Have a difficult time with setting of the clock. Probably buy something different next time.

Many complaints about the sound it makes when it's done warming up your food. I like it, it's different.

We were waited on promptly and ordered the microwave we needed. In and out in a jiffy. Much needed because we were closing on a new home.

Love the size and design. However, it does not heat up and I have such terrible long cooking times, it's a joke. SO, I don't know if I got a lemon. But, this is going back to LG.

Nice microwave and i love the chime sound when food is done

I bought this at the big blue-and-yellow box store in July 2019 after my 22-year-old Panasonic oven finally quit working. I liked this one because it was smaller and had inverter technology. I didn't mind the weird control panel with no numbers being behind the door, and I didn't mind the singing chimes. What I did mind very much is that after less than 18 months, the magnetron suddenly went out. It's supposed to be covered for 10 years. But LG Customer Service won't just send the part to me. I have to take it to one of their authorized repair centers, who will then order the replacement part (which will be free) and replace it (which will likely cost more than I originally paid for it).
