This broke in 2 years, the warranty is only for a specific part not 10 years like it says in the front label( it does not specify a specific part only on product) no point in having a certain part covered when the whole product stops working!!!

The magnetron stop working. Bought on July 2020 lasted through March 2023 and there is no use of 10yr magnetron warranty since the labor cost is very much more in authorized LG repair shop compare to the current price of the same unit in the market.

Pretty but poorly designed

Purchased this microwave in 2020 and in 2023 I'm having to replace it. The paint on the inside of the appliance has started to peel. It constantly stays damp on the inside, doesn't seem to vent properly.

Microwave caught on fire. Not small sparks full blown fire. It is out of warranty and LG was only willing to provide $20 off a new unit. Buy the Best Buy warranty and keep a fire hydrant nearby.

Sparks and Flames -- Unsafe

Within 3 months of purchasing this microwave, it began to spark and create small flames when anything was put inside. Oatmeal, microwaveable popcorn, butter, melting chocolate: every burst with pops of flames. This fire hazard should be recalled in my opinion. I'm so grateful I got a full refund.

Not stainless steel

This is advertised as a stainless steel microwave. The only stainless steel on this micro are the two narrow strips on the front door. The rest of the micro is painted in a "champagne" color. Very deceiving picture online and it doesn't fit the style of my kitchen at all.

No luck with this LG microwave and have had similar bad luck with other LG appliances. Powers on but would not heat after only 17 months. LG won’t cover, switching to GE. Disappointed after all the great reviews.

This microwave crashed and literally burned in 6 months. I didn't do anything too extreme it just one day started smoking and durn near set my kitchen ablaze! Dealing with LG warranting offshore department has been less than pleasant.
