More importantly, it defrosts very evenly. The controls are very minimal and take some getting used to. Setting power levels is a bit cumbersome, since it has to be adjusted only after setting cook time at full power. That is not intuitive. Here is the biggest issue with this product, and I have had this issue with two different units, so it is not a one-off. The units emits tons of interfering energy in the 2.4 GHz range. It leaks - badly. My wi-fi at home and at work both tank the minute the units are turned on. It all comes back as soon as the oven is turned off. While this is not necessarily dangerous, it is very inconvenient, since it interrupts things like audio streaming during parties, etc. There is no fix for this, it is a design flaw. If you plan on using this in proximity to your APs, pick another model.

Sleek looking microwave
