I loved that model. I selected this one since the door latch was different. Hope this one holds up better. I've only used it a few days so I have no idea if this one will last.

No big deal unless you're already cooking in the microwave and you need to set a timer for something else. In the throes of cooking, I need all the help I can get. LG taking away my extra timer just frizzes this already frazzled cook.

It’s a bit inconvenient that you can’t put in the exact amount of cook time. It starts at 10 seconds but you can’t choose less time. It’s also very large & wouldn’t fit on my stand.
