We did not want a push button door opener. The controls are easy to use. Just push one button to start. Then + or - to increase or decrease cook time.

It's a good value for the size and we agree that the chirps/songs to indicate cycle competion was cute. However, the use of past tense should be notable. After daily use for 6 months the microwave quit operating during a 7 minute cook. It never recovered. Customer service didn't even bother with the Smart Diagnostic (TM) function and determined that refunding us is better than having a service call. I'm not sure why they would engineer that function and not use it. Is disposable appliances under $200 going to be the new standard? Disappointing.

Works well, does what we need

I like the "swipe to set time" feature, and it plays a charming little melody when your cook time is done. About the only complaint I have is that because there is no number pad, you can only set times in increments of 10 seconds (up to 3 minutes), and then only in increments of 30 seconds. Sometimes, instructions ask for times in between, and you just have to take your best guess.
