Only reason I don’t give it five stars...the timer buttons have to be set with the door open and the larger version has a rounded back inside for easy cleaning, which I thought this one had but it doesn’t. Perfectly happy otherwise, cooks quickly!

Easy to clean and Works great. I wish it was brighter and had numbers.

Quiet and good looking unit. Having to get used to lack of keypad buttons, but does give minimalistic look.

Its a little noisy, but it works good... It has a chime that takes a little getting used to, but I would buy it again.

It’s a microwave oven. It heats up your food when you push the buttons; nicely and evenly. Sleek look. My kids happen to LOVE the jingle and it doesn’t bother my husband or myself. I think it was a good buy. If that changes, I will be back to update.

We have had the Microwave now for 2 weeks and it works wonderfully!! Had to get use to the new little tune it plays when something is done but it's great!!

This is a very nice microwave. We needed a particular size and this fit perfectly. Well made. Works well. Controls could be a little better. You can’t just punch in the cook time you want. You have to scroll up to the time you want.

I have owned an LG microwave before. Had it for about 5 years and was satisfied with it. In the fall of last year had a series of power company blackouts and brownouts--despite having a surge protector the microwave just didn't perform well after that. Decided to replace it, and looked for the exact same model. Well, even though it had the same model number it wasn't the same machine. The controls are very different and it's taken quite some time to get used to them. That I can live with, but the sounds it makes when it has finished a task are like very old video game/goofy anime/cheesy ice cream truck music. Wish I could disconnect that--then I'd be very happy with it. As I wrote in the title, I'm probably too picky; I'm sure there are plenty of folks who like the sounds it makes. And even though that's annoying for me, it wouldn't stop me from recommending this machine.

its hard to get excited about a microwave. However this one looks great, super easy to use, I like the "invisible" panel behind the door.

This microwave would get five stars if it weren't so loud. The glass plate thing that rotates vibrates and adds to the noise. However, it's powerful and does what we need it to do.

needed a new microwave , went to best buy & was window shopping .A salesperson helped answer some questions & recommended this L.G. , stating that it had printproof black S.S. ,& that was a big selling point . He was right , easy to keep clean & works great

Looks nice. It's much quieter than the old one, and the controls are good. The "done" alert is pleasant, which is a nice change from the nasty screech that most microwaves have used for years. It does exactly what you expect, and that is good.

Took a bit to get used to the controls but once we did we really like the oven. The alert tones are pleasant to hear. It is easy to clean & love the fact that you can clean the door without accidentally pressing control buttons.

This microwave works really well. It warms and reheats food as expected. The only thing that I don't like is that it does not have number buttons to select heating time. There is a button to press that registers 30 seconds per press. There is also a graduated line on the outside that you slide your finger along to increase or decrease the time. When you open the door there is a button to press that registers 10 seconds per press. There is no way to select individual times. I was told by the sales person that when plugged in and turned on, the numbers would appear on the outside of the door. That is not the case. Other than that, the microwave works well. It just takes a little getting used to. I've only had this microwave for a month.

We love this microwave which is large enough inside but small enough not to take up to much counter space and it looks amazing. Definitely compliments my kitchen.

They don’t have an option for a 4.5 rating so 4 it is knowing it would be a 4.5. We replaced our built in over that had a microwave with a double oven. Since we already had some LG Black Stainless Steel appliances this was a great fit. Performance wise it blows our old microwave away. It was only 950 watts, this one is more. The all important popcorn test passes easily. Only a few I popped kernels and have yet to have any burned. The quirks, there is a melody that plays when it’s done. It’s a nice change from the traditional beep. Another quirk is that it only increments by 10 seconds. I really like the time slider but if you want 45 seconds, you have to go to 50 and stop it 5 seconds early. Performance wise, it’s great and nothing so far has been a show stopper.

Very good item. I had trouble with the first purchase so I ended up exchanging it for the same item. Works great and pretty quite. I really like the feature of lowering or increasing the time on the fly.
