Promises less fingerprints on the front panel. Does its job, and looks good. Operationally is where it falls short. To program cooking, this must be done with the door open, as programming is located on the front right, inside of the door. The only thing on the outside of the door is a Start and Stop/Pause touch spots. (Thus the less visible fingerprints promised - they're still there - just on the inside of the front.) There is no numeric keypad, replaced with a "+" and "-" sign. So, you have to scroll up and down by 10 second increments. There is no auto 30-second hit, or 1-5 minute hit, a great convenience with other models. Invariably, you have to "+" and "-" a couple of times to reach your target. No 5-second increments. Fixing the dogs' dinners every night requires a 15-second heating, so it is not refrigerator cold. This now requires watching, as 20-seconds makes it too hot to eat.

It is easy to use and directions are easy to understand. Additionally, cleaning is a snap.

Being able to set the cooking time in 10 second increments is a good feature. The turntable tends to rumble when the machine is running, but it isn't a big problem, just noisy. The popcorn sensor is completely inaccurate, so don't rely on it to actually sense anything. We run the machine for a minute and 35 or 40 seconds to pop a mini bag of popcorn. You need to listen and watch, otherwise your popcorn will quickly burn.

There is not a number pad, but has a slide to increase the microwave time although I just press the Start button to nuke for 30 seconds and press again if needing longer.

powerful little microwave

Seems to be stronger than my previous GE, but it gets the job done. I mostly use it for reheating and warming things.

The exterior slightly smaller than my last microwave, but more spacious inside. Love the gray interior and flat buttons. Makes for easy cleaning. Sleek looking, too.
