Works like a charm . This is definitely worth every penny. The features are amazing. I love the ease of warming up for , the defrost feature and the cooking feature. It heat up food from inside to out.

This microwave is easy to use, heats well, easy to clean, and the temperature stays steady. We love it.

A little bit difficult to adapt to the new working settings but once you get it is superb easy to use.

Nice design. However, I need to consult the manual for operation. Usually I don't read manuals because most devices are intuitive. I miss not punching in the numbers directly. e.g. 47 seconds instead of 10 seconds/20 second/ 30 second and so on intervals.

Best cooking oven I ever owned. Went on sale 15 days after I bought it, Unfortunately the one on sale was Stainless in color, so I returned the Black colored one and saved $80. Therefore this review is for both colors. I researched many microwaves before buying this one. After comparing many ovens I decided I wanted an Inverter Oven. This means the microwave cooks at the power level you set 100% of the time (no more On/Off while cooking). That allows the oven to cook everything evenly. Many reviews hate the chime rather the the ding. I prefer the chime. Others want a keypad to set times. I guess that people don't like change. I am 78 years old and did not have a hard time learning the time setting system. The Sensor cooking is a nice feature. The oven seams to be built very sturdy. Heavier than my other one. I would recommend this oven to my family and friends.

Took a little time to get used to new controls but easy to use. My microwave sits on a shelf above counter and I’m short so light inside hits me in the eyes so I can’t read panel. Wish touch panel was backlit to make easier to see, especially at night. Works well, liking internal light brightness while cooking.

Controls are insane. There is no number key pad to put in the amount of time you want some thing to cook. As per the manual, "Press start/enter to cook at 100% cook power for 30 seconds. Press start/enter during cooking to increase cook time by 30 seconds. (Add up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds). To adjust the time [like if you have something that calls for 70 seconds of cook time] you have to use a vary unprecise tiny "slid bar" to adjust it up to 70 seconds. Now think about this... it starts with 30 seconds, then you have to do several button pushes to add another 30 seconds. How long did that take you? Maybe 10 seconds? So do you have 30 + 30 seconds cook time OR 20 + 30 seconds cook time? So how much do you add with the slide bar WHILE THE MICROWAVE IS RUNNING? Second, the sounds... It beeps and sings like a child's toy. Who wants a beepy 'song' every. single. time. the thing is done??? It went back!!

Overall I like this microwave. It takes a bit of getting used to since the button panel is inside, not outside like most. That feature makes it look more streamlined. I really like the slider on the front panel for adding or reducing the cook time. The reason I give this a 4 instead of 5 star is because the font used for the lettering of the buttons is a cream color with almost no contrast against the black. I cannot read the buttons without using a flashlight. It's annoying. Two things could fix this immediately--either bright white font or backlighting on the control panel when in use. Overall it is very dark.

Having gone thru two GE microwaves that, over the course of four years, malfunctioned -- and had to be junked -- I am hopeful that this one will last longer. It just seems sturdier. It's also very attractive -- elegant, you might even say! The cooking timer on the front of the unit is a real bonus. Buy this microwave.

I did find the "Manuel" to be lacking in detail, I found a good explanation of how to use the microwave on YouTube. ONCE I understood how to use the controls, this microwave was outstanding. It does all I wanted it to and mow! I really recommend this,

Love the clean looking front view. If power goes out I have to pull the microwave out of its spot to disconnect and plug back in to have time reset. Heats well and popcorn button works great. No burnt kernels p, but all popcorn is popped. Not used it yet for cooking, but warming works great.

It looks awesome in our new house! Very easy to use!

This microwave is simple to use and nice looking too

This microwave works well. It cooks consistently and does all the things a microwave should do. The controls, however, are a different story. They are located inside the door, so that you must open the door to set the timer or to do anything other than cook at 100% power. We knew this in advance. But, working with it on a daily basis is less than ideal. The reason we selected this model is that it was one of the few microwaves that didn't have reviews from people who complain about fires and mini-explosions. I'll take safety over convenience any day. But, it would be much better if the control pad was on the outside, like most microwaves. Also, you can only cook in 10-second increments. So, if you want to cook something for 15 seconds, you have to set it for 20 and turn it off when there are 5 seconds left. LG--you can do better.

The standard time settings are not here! It is difficult to change to an exact time of, say 3:12 minutes. In fact you have to play with 30 second intervals to set the time at all. You can deminish this but it is not exact. Then there is the, its ready music, tired of it already! Can't can't change that either.

We like the LG - NeoChef 1.5 Cu. Ft. Mid-Size Microwave so far. It came with a 6 point turntable which helps the food cook evenly. We also enjoy the signals when the food is done. The signal is more musical than our old microwave.
