We used this microwave as soon as we got it home, brand new. It made a low level grinding noise while running. It sounded like the rotating mechanism was somehow defective and grinding while turning. I made sure the glass platter and carriage wheels were assembled properly. I also tried rotating by hand. I came to the conclusion that there was nothing mechanically wrong, it was just something about the design of the platter/wheels that caused the noise. However, my wife would not accept it. And I agreed. The microwave we were replacing made suspicious noises prior to failing. And the noise made by this new one was unsettling even though I was 85% sure there was nothing wrong.

Lasted about the life of my protection plan. Now i have a big burnt hole in the back. Not what you would expect from a microwave that costs almost $300

Ended up exchanging the 1.5 for the 2.0 since the larger one fit our below counter space better. The controls behind the door on the 1.5 seems weird, but we never used since we returned. 2.0 is great.

Stainless still and the perfect size to cook for a med size family. However, having owned an LG microwave in the past I miss the melting feature and the popcorn figure can not be fully trusted make sure tending to.

A little noisy while it is heating up something but otherwise it is a very good microwave

I love the simplicity of the cook time slider. I don't use any of the sensing functions, but I'm happy with the basic functions and design of this microwave.

Appealing black stainless; works great. A little unusual to have the select buttons for cooking on the unit panel after opening the door. Don’t mind it though. All my appliances are LG.

Well built, really like the design with the flush front and hidden control panel. Very attractive for what is normally a pretty mundane workaday appliance. Pricey though, for a microwave oven.

Was an open box purchase with no visible issues. LG brand has been pretty good to us and this Micro appears to be living up to standard

Does everything very well and very easy to use. It will even play a tune to remind you that you left your coffee in the Microwave

I originally bought this a year ago in Australia. When we moved back, I bought the same one because I liked it so much. Some people may not like the “ready” tune, but it doesn’t bother me.

Looks very nice and works perfectly. The buttons on the inside are a nice touch. A big upgrade from a 20 year old model.

Works perfectly and don’t have to wait long for food to be warmed up. Warms up cooked food already in 2 minutes. Definitely worth the buy in my opinion.

I selected this microwave because of the Smart Inverter feature. I especially like the defrost feature. It has taken some adjustment because the time can only be increased in 10 sec or 30 sec intervals. I like the chime signal at the end.
