So far so good. I love how different this microwave looks. The buttons are on the inside which makes the style look very futuristic. It gets everything hot within a minute or two at the most which I love. So far I’m very happy with my purchase and I looked around at different microwaves and the reviews before purchasing this one.

This microwave is amazing! It’s really quiet and has a huge capacity. Fits well on a small counter space without sacrificing how much I can heat up. Has a ton of Settings, and sensor cook options actually work really well. Definitely worth the higher price over the other models . So glad we chose this one. Additionally, I needed one that was easy to open and close the door as I have a disability. This one is really easy and stable on the counter so I don’t have to worry about pulling it down or having a hard time opening.

Very quite, very convenient to use. Most settings are not on the door panel, which is good for not turning it on by accident.

It is now January 8 2022 and it stopped heating completely out of the blue. We have all LG appliances. Purchased this to match and to upgrade from a small cheap model which we had for several years. While we didnt expect it to last forever, we expected at least a few years. We were drawn to it because of the sleek look, modern features and great reviews. The only other issue we had with it was the top coating started peeling off the top of unit after a few months. We enjoyed while it lasted, which wasnt long. 2 stars because of lifespan. We did really like it when it worked. From other reviews it appears the repair is more than purchasing another and pthers have had the same issue. Should have opted for the Squad protection. We usually do, have owned microwaves that lasted 10+ years, never expected failure 1 year in.

I love the features of this LG microwave. The sensor cook option works great and this microwave is super easy to clean, plus it looks great.

I chose the wrong microwave and ended up with this model we unboxed and I gave it a go and it looks good in the kitchen, its a nice size, so far its performing well. I will say, you can't input the numbers for the amount of time you desire but it has a touch screen bar where you can add or decrease time so I had never seen that before. Overall happy customer here!

This microwave is great with kids in the household, its quiet enough to not wake anyone up when using it and it looks pretty sleek in our kitchen.

Overall this is a great microwave. This uses inverter technology which affects power delivery. Old style microwaves are either on or off. You want the power level at 50%, you get 100% power half the time and 0% the other half (you can hear it cycling on and off). Microwaves with an inverter are able to vary the power (50% power is 50% all of the time). As a result they cook food much more evenly. For example, reheating mac and cheese used to involve putting it in the microwave for an amount of time then testing it only to find that while the outside was hot the inside was still cold. This microwave is different. Simply use the sensor reheat function and the end result is food that is reheated (or cooked or defrosted, if that's what you are doing) perfectly throughout. Because it isn't constantly cycling the power on and off it's able to cook food at a more controlled pace. I have used it to defrost frozen steaks and it did the job without cooking the edges like previous units I've owned. My only suggestion for improvement is the control panel. It's a (non-conventional) touch sensitive panel inside the door and on the door itself, which is cool. Whats not cool is the lack of illumination. The writing does not contrast sufficiently enough to make it easily legible in low light situations. As this is placed on my counter under the cabinet, there's never enough light to see what you are doing (I've put a small LED flashlight next to it to compensate). Either figure out a way to add a backlight or replace it with a traditional backlit keypad like most other microwaves use. So if you've got plenty of light where you're going to to put it, by all means buy this. But I don't so I knocked a star off for the lack of foresight by LG's designers.

Easy to use , very powerful , is fairly quiet and the price is about right.

Looks amazing, works like a champ. I replaced a panisonic inverter microwave with this. The LG is larger and works much better. Im not great at figuring out some of the features, but my stupidity is not the fault of the appliance. I love the volume and tone of the timer. On other microwaves ive used, I couldnt hear when the food was done.

I bought this LG microwave cuz my old Whirlpool had broken for the 3rd time, the push button that opens the door broke, and i was done having it repaired! So i started doing research on mid size microwaves with door handles. I didn't want to buy another one with the push button release door and end up having the same problem! But i also wanted i microwave that basically had the same features as my old one. The LG is the one that had the most features i was looking for; a sleek black stainless look with an easy to clean grey interior, not the regular white interior color, 1200 watts of power, 1.5 cu. ft., Inverter technology, sensor cooking, an interior light that turns on whenever the microwave is in use or the door is open, and a latch door, even better than a bulky door handle! The only downside is it doesn't have a numbered key pad control panel that everyone is so acustomed to. And it only sets time in increments of 10 seconds! And thats why i didn't give it 5 stars. But even with the downsides its not hard to get used to. I just hope it lasts at least a few years!

Very powerful and quiet. Personally I love the cute chime or music it plays when finished. My last microwave had a very obnoxious loud beeping. I love the simple black on black design without a handle or button. It looks clean and disappears in my navy kitchen island.
