We needed to replace our precious microwave which just died on us, I got this one because it was a nice price and bigger than our old oven. The interface is easy to learn, and this thing feels twice as powerful as the previous one. Almost too powerful! We keep getting an outlet breaking almost every time we use it; hopefully it means we just need a better surge protector.

love the size, the tonal note reminders, the low noise level, the looks. it takes a little getting used to the unit has no numbers pad. either have to use sensor buttons or a sliding scale to get a cooking time.

This is the best microwave I’ve ever owned. It’s very easy to use and has excellent wattage power. Very easy to keep clean. Nice size; not too large or small. The best feature in my opinion is the door. It simply pulls open, pushes closed; no button to push. It’s very easy to open/close. Additionally, the Best Buy price at approximately $84 at the time I purchased it at my store, can’t be beat by anyone. Prior to purchasing this microwave, I had a Panasonic Inverter microwave that I paid $180 for at Amazon in 2016, it stopped working. The “button” was obnoxious and I think the door interlock switches failed is the reason it quit working in two years. It’s August 23, 2020 and the LG microwave is still working like new.

Smaller than average, but it still fits our largest plates. Has a very clean looking front face, with most of the buttons hidden behind the door. Has a lot of happy sound options when the food is done, not some angry beeping that most microwaves have.

The design is slick! Nice, clean and uncluttered front. Large enough for my needs. Easy operation. I thought it was pricey at first but after I got it home and put it on the counter, I thought it was worth it. It does not have one of the cheap handles that will break off or get stuck. This has a much better design. Opens nice and easy. Great for individuals with hand pain or weakness. One feature I really like is that when the timer chimes, it will chime a bit later if you have forgotten to take the contents out. This is perfect. In the past, I left broccoli in the microwave for two days. What an odor! If a microwave could be considered sexy, this is it.

Powerful, performing well, love the design. Like the musical reminder when cooking cycle is complete. This microwave compliments our other LG appliances!

I can only say I have had it a short time and am getting used to the controls for cook and defrost .... on the inside of the door but it works well so far, looks sleek, and has plenty of room on the inside. You have the quick 30 second intervals on the outside of the door for quick heat-ups, which allows you to plus or minus the time also on the outside of the door. It is easy to use and has a hand grab set at the door opening so no handles to keep clean and ads to the sleekness of the unit. If I had this unit longer I could better judge the longevity that is why the 4 stars.

This microwave works great and looks even better! The touch controls can take a little getting used to (learning where exactly to touch them) but it's no big deal at all and makes it look better when not in use (vs normal controls). Easy to clean as well. My only issue is that I think you're forced to make time increments by 10 seconds; so for example, you cant set a timer for 53 seconds but rather 50 or 60 seconds. But it's not too big of a deal and don't think it's worth knocking any stars off for that. It does seem to cook more evenly than the microwave it replaced, which is great. Also, there's some sensor cooking options which I've yet to explore. I would definitely recommend!

Good size and power. Performs well. Looks good. The sing song chime is pleasant enough, but we would prefer a louder end of cycle signal.

Purchased 06/19/19. It’s powerful, nice looking and easy to clean. Sensor cooking was my favorite unless I use a microwave cover with vents, then it overcooks. The buttons behind the door became a hassle and the top rattles loudly shortly after purchase. 06/01/22 the display bar no longer works. This has minimal usage. LG needs to improve on the quality what their selling.

Amazing little microwave. Really like the sleek styling with controls not frequently used being hidden behind the door. The sounds made when the cooking is complete is refreshing with the normal beep beep being replaced by a tune. Very powerful for its size. Recommend !!

The LG Neo Chef 1.5 cu ft Midsize Countertop Microwave in Black Stainless Steel is the perfect microwave. It is beautifully simple with most controls hidden inside the handleless, yet easy to open door leaving nothing outside to catch dust or kitchen grease. Clean lines along with the small countertop space taken up make it the perfect addition to any kitchen.

The looks of this appliance is very attractive. It is easy to use, however the main button panel is inside the door and takes some getting use to. The chimes when cooking is finished is neat

So far it's been a solid microwave. The controls are different than what you are probably used to, however, once you get the hang of the "time slider" you will find it incredibly simple and easy to use. Looks really good and the inside has been very easy to clean. No complaints so far.

Best microwave. We bought a Cuisinart and it sounded horrible so i got this one and its great. it is powerful, spacious and has a nice user interface. 10/10 recommend this. Ive had it for about a year now and no problems.

Perfect size and features. We are happy with the 1200 watts. Lots of cooking options. We like the control panel for sensor cooking when the door is open. Took a minute to figure out the control panel on the inside and front of the door. Really like the easy to open tab on the door. No more messy push buttons.

This is probably the best microwave that I have ever purchased! I love how easy it is and the sleek design. I wasn't sure about the buttons being on the inside door panel at first. But, I've come to love that aspect! Finally, as silly as it is, I love when appliances have a happy little tune when they are finished. Every time the microwave is done heating something up, it sings a little jingle. If your looking for a new microwave that gets the job done, is stylish, and is more than happy to warm your meals, then I suggest giving this one a try!

I bought this as an open box. It was a returned item. I am not sure why it was returned as it is a great, easy to use microwave. Perfect size to sit on a countertop. Buttons are a bit different to most but very easy to figure out.

Enjoying recent gift to self for Christmas purchased from Best Buy. Love that I have the option to increase or take away time to cook with the touch of a button. It is easy to keep clean and dies not take up a lot of space. It also has a pleasant melody when the time runs out.
