Powerful Microwave with a door that actually works

I've had great luck with LG appliances, and this one is no exception. Unlike the Kitchenaid, the door release on this LG works flawlessly. And the SS finish does not seem to accumulate fingerprints. I can recommend this LG microwave to anyone.

Does have a slight metal/electrical smell when operating. Had to replace my last LG ( only lasted 5.5 yrs) loved the brushed nickel and the inside seemed like a thicker metal. Unfortunately the newer models don’t last like the Kenmore microwave I had for 19yrs!

At first the store was going to make me return product and buy new one. A manager stepped in and had a plate taken from another box and given to me. Common sense prevailed and I was very happy.

Best to have an advanced degree in computer science before attempting to use. Also the door kept saying it was not tight. You have to slam it to get it to agree to work reluctantly.
