My old microwave bit the dust the day before Christmas. So I needed to replace it in a hurry and didn't do my usual research before buying. I bought this microwave with high expectations, since I have many LG products and they're all excellent. However, this clunker proves that just b/c a particular manufacturer makes lots of good products, it doesn't mean it makes ALL good products. First of all, it's underpowered and therefore s-l-o-w. It replaced a Sharp Carousel that was a workhorse for ~15 good years. Either the Sharp was exceptionally fast (and I expected all microwaves to be this fast) or this LG just doesn't measure up to similar microwaves with the same capacity (~2.0 cu. ft.) and power (1200W) (more likely). As a baseline example, with my old Sharp, an 8 oz. cup of water from the refrigerator would go from very chilled to boiling in about 2 minutes. With this LG, I set the timer for 2-1/2 minutes and the water is hot but still not boiling. And that's indicative of anything I put in this microwave. It just takes an inordinate amount of time to cook or heat anything. Very frustrating and irritating. 2) The touchpad is very insensitive and non-responsive. Unless you touch the given button in just the "right" way, it does nothing. 3) The tone at the end of a cycle is this cutesy, sing-songy set of chimes. which is very soft and pretty much inaudible, especially it there's any noise in the room. The chimey tones and low audibility also apply to most other functions, i.e. pushing the touchpad keys. Why can't LG make a microwave that just makes straightforward, clearly audible sounds that let me know my food is being cooked, or is done; I don't need it to play me a happy tune. There's more I don't like about this microwave. but I think you get the idea. About the only good thing I can say about this microwave is that it's very quiet. So, in a word, would I recommend this microwave to someone else...no. Frustrating as it probably will be, I'll keep it for a while just to get at least some money's worth out of it and then carefully shop around for something better.

Our old microwave died just after the "Stay at Home" restrictions due to the coronavirus went into effect. We knew we would be depending on our microwave more than ever and Best Buy came to the rescue. They were open for online order take outs at our local Best Buy store and we picked it up within several hours of ordering it. It has performed well!

I had a custom frame custom fitted by a local/chain crafts shop for the cabinet this is intended for and that solved the custom finished fit, function and appearance. Great product, appearance, smart features and functionality.

This Microwave is the best that we have ever owned will recommend this anytime.

The microwave heats food fine when the turntable works. The first time I purchased this microwave new, the turntable stopped working within two weeks. I returned the microwave for a replacement, and 3 months later the turntable on that microwave has also stopped working. The button interface is a bit inefficient. For example, to reheat the dinner plate mode, you push the "sensor reheat" button 3 times instead of pushing "sensor reheat" and the number 3. On a positive note, we like the tune that plays when the timer is done or the reheating complete.

This microwave was a replacement for our old one we had for over 10 years. We picked it because it was a good deal and a bit larger than our previous model. But one thing we noticed is interruption of our WiFi signal to phones and laptops. I am using a Nighthawk Wifi Router and din't have the issue with the previous microwave and the physical locations have not changed.

After our last microwave stopped turning on us, we decided to pick up this LG. It looks great in our kitchen! It cooks fast and evenly, like a microwave should. The buttons didn't "press" easily, so they took a little getting used to be able to enter in timing quick. I would have also liked it if the door open button was full pressable instead of just the left side of it being pressable.

When a customer is looking at diminsions, the outside dimensions are extremely important! I may have to take this back to the store and measure items they have on displey over this! The putside dimensions are 3/4 of an inch larger than what i need to fit over my over! Very dissapointed!
