Apparently the magnetron died this morning. LG's chatbot can't find anyone closer than 300 miles away to look at it. However, apparently even if the magnetron is the problem and the part cost is still under warranty, the labor charge will be more than the current cost of a new one. Probably won't be looking at another LG brand product...
