    The worst microwave I ever had I am lucky that I am buying best buy protection with it. In last 2 years, 3 times I replaced the item

    This product is too bulky. Also it is not that user friendly for example setting up clock and timer.

    This is the second one we have bought. Both were lemons. They lose power quickly, and the button to open the door broke on both, too. We thought the first one was just an aberration, but now realize looking online that lots of people report the same issues. Very disappointed in LG with this product! They should refund!!!

    Touchpad Toast!

    I really liked this microwave, but the touchpad started having problems just when it came out of warranty. Searching, it seems like a common issue. LG support is no help. I have to replace the touch panel or just deem it bricked... Didn't even last 2 years.

    The keypad just went kaplooey! It chimed and gave a code of F-3. I unplugged it and left it unplugged for 5-10 minutes. Plugged it back in and keypad did not respond at all! This is the 2nd one I have had like this. The first one started turning itself on! Both, of course, were out of warranty. First one lasted 2 1/2 yrs. This one not quite 2 yrs. Will not buy another LG.

    We really use our microwave daily. I don't like it not giving you light inside when its not running. Defrosting and cooking bacon is our thing. We just started getting error f3 codes only after 7 months, but we bought the warranty. I can tell all that the Best Buy warranty on the market. I been buying products from here most of my life and have never been able to use a warrant with any success anywhere else in town.

    Do not like when you want to clean off front of microwave messes up numbers on front when cleaning it. Clock changes on its own to wrong time.

    Stopped heating after 6 months. Getting a replacement and we’ll see if this is a one off, I would still recommend it because it performed well while it worked.

    Door opener problem twice within three years

    We bought this microwave in June 2020. Everything worked well in the first year. Then the latch or the door handle started showing signs of problems, the door was getting hard to open. You have to push the upper left corner to get it open; sometimes needs a few tries. Since we bought a four-year warranty, we replaced it with the same exact model in November 2021, hoping the problem we had was only occasional. However, the same thing happened again yesterday, April 7, 2023. The only difference is that the door handle was physically popped out even though the door had closed. Well, what I can say? Maybe I am just unlucky. With a total of 5199 reviews, the sum of one star and two stars are only 378, less than 7.3%. Anyway, I add one star.

    After awhile, failed to heat up

    Got this baby and was so excited for it, all the great reviews on it seemed so good. Sadly, the popcorn function didnt work out of the box. No problem, we just typed in our time to pop. I didnt want to waste a trip back to best buy just for some popcorn. Now 1.5 years later, its not heating any food. Would not recommend. My smaller under $100 microwaves lasted years and years compared to this. I had the geek squad warranty and we were told we have to wait 2-3 WEEKS just for them to know if it can be repaired. Terrible.

    The turning plate never worked. LG support wasn't much help. After trying a few things they suggested, the final option was to unplus the oven for two hours to reset the oven? Finally took the oven back to Best Buy.

    This item is not as described on the box or in the video on the website. Truth in advertising is essential to me. This is the fault of the manufacturer, not Best Buy! The people at Best Buy were awesome. In my opinion, LG has no integrity!

    Problems began with this microwave approximately 4 months in. F-3 error message and had to be unplugged to reset. As this was set into cabinet this was difficult to do and the error repeatedly rang out so no choice but to unplug. Eventually unplugging did not work. Thankfully Best Buy refunded. Would not recommend.

    Initially it worked great but as of a couple of weeks ago about a month after owning it for a year it just stopped heating up. The convenience of that for LG is that the warranty is only for a year so I definitely wouldn’t recommend this microwave

    It’s a big microwave the only reason why I’m giving this item a 1 star is because every time I warm up food it smell like burn cables I don’t know if is normal or not but I threw away the box so I can’t take it back but it’s really big and it makes a really cute noise when timer goes off
