    Only lasted two years and quit heating

    Loved the microwave. Bought in 2020. However, after having for two years it quit heating. Did their smart diagnostic feature and all it told me was that it required technical attention and that is was not working properly. I already knew that. Contacted LG support and they told me it would cost $125 to have someone even look at it. For what I paid for it that is not worth it. When I told them I was disappointed that I had a microwave that only lasted two years their response was "Thank you for understanding. Have have a good day" and they disconnected the chat. Will not be buying LG again.

    DO NOT buy this product. I liked the size of it and the look of it so I purchased one in Sept of 2018. It broke in Sept of 2019. I was given a reimbursement for buying a new one. This new one has now broken down in Sept of 2020, less than 2 weeks outside of the 1-year warranty. I repeat...DO NOT buy it!

    Worked great until it died

    We bought this microwave because we had one at work that we liked a lot. Worked great for about 8 months then started shooting an error code. Looking up the code is says it's the main control panel and "DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR". It's now sitting in my shop waiting to be tossed. I'm sad because we have an LG Fridge, Washer/Dryer and 2 TV's that we've never had an issue with.

    This new one is stronger so things cook more quickly. The old one was easier to use.

    This most expensive microwave on the floor and is sold as being “smart” and having all the bells and whistles. There is no way the salesperson would know this but, although the manufacturer touts its programmability. There is no way to turn off the annoying “songs” that is played when it stops! Googling turns up this lack of feature to be a top reason not to purchase this going back 4 years! i even contacted customer support and they confirmed the sounds cannot be turned off.

    Never buy LG microwave, they don’t last

    After a year and 10 months it stop heating the food, This is the second LG microwave that not last for long, so never again LG microwave. If you care for your money stay a way from LG microwave, until they will give at least 5 years of FULL warranty on their microwaves.

    LOVE THE LOOK AND SIZE BUT THE COOKING IS INCONSISTENT--ONE TIME 1 MINUTE WILL HEAT YOUR CUP OF WATER BUT THE NEXT TIME IT TAKES 2 MINUTES. IT ALMOST NEVER HEATED A FROZEN DISH OF MAC AND CHEESE. KEPT HAVING TO ADD ANOTHER MINUTE AND ANOTHER MINUTE. NOT NEARLY AS GOOD AS MY KENMORE WITH INVERTER WHICH WORKED PERFECTLY ON COOKING, DEFROSTING, REHEATING BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT RUSTED OUT IN THE TOP.

    Larger than my old microwave, and does not heat as quickly or thoroughly. And just under 2 years, it stopped working all together! Also, settings are confusing, such as something simple like setting the clock, need to reference the manual every time.

    Overall, the microwave works fine. But after just 18 months, the button to open the door broke. Since it's 18 months, the 1-year warranty is no longer applicable. I'd expect a $200 microwave to last a bit longer (my $50 microwave lasted more than 10 years.

    Stay Away - button issues, LG is no help

    Microwave worked fine for 5 months, then suddenly the number pad stopped working and showed an error code "L-3". LG Support confirms this means the panel is shorting out. Was advised they would send a repair person - long story short, the repair person was here for 5 minutes & did not fix; complained to LG; repair company was supposed to come back, but a month later did not; called them, the repair was mysteriously cancelled. Called LG, and this time was told they can't repair tabletop units, and they want to process a refund for me - which will take several weeks more, so in the meantime I'll need to go buy ANOTHER microwave out of pocket. When I do, you can BET it won't be another LG.

    Was a good microwave until a few days after the year mark and the warranty was out the glass front busted into tiny glass pieces. No reason why it would do this just heard this crackling and went to find out that it was breaking. From now on buying cheaper microwaves because they just don't last that long anymore.

    Like other LG products that I have purchased, it works fine until the warranty expires. The 10 year warranty is only on specific parts. It has only a 1 year replacement warranty. I would not buy again.
