    This was a replacement for another LG microwave. Both lasted less than a year. The microwaves were used daily, primarily for reheating or boiling a mug of water for tea. They worked beautifully while they worked but were not worth the price since the microwave I had prior to these worked for almost 20 years.

    The microwave works fine. I gave 3 stars because the door is extremely loud when closing.

    Can’t open the door

    Have had the unit for about 6 months. The door opener already broke. Average use is 1 to 2 times a day.

    Bought the Microwave for right at 300.00 and within a year the plastic pieces inside the button that opens the door broke off. It no longer has a button to open it. It was cheaply made and for 300.00 you think the build quality would be better

    Poorly designed button that opens the door, cheaply made at this price point. Broken 6 weeks after 1 year warranty expired, and of course I have to fix it at my cost. I expect a better made product for the cost.

    Button to open the door doesn’t work well. My one year warranty ended on 3/13/25 they won’t stand behind it. If I want it fixed I have to pay for it. Not buying another.

    Works well, however, the door switch/press button latch is very loose. We tried to contact the manufacturer several times. No one replied. We cannot even find a separate latch or door switch to replace it.

    Absolute trash. The turntable is ridiculous loud. it doesnt turn smooth it will spill food on the glass due to the jerking. The door button half the time doesnt want to work.

    Our microwave died just after a year and a half. Mid cook steaming vegetables it just shut off. After numerous back-and-forths with LG trying to troubleshoot it was deemed toast. This seems to be a more expensive microwave so I was disappointed in the lack of longevity. Conveniently the warranty is only one year.

    Lasted for 4 weeks then quit heating

    Microwave ordered online and arrived quickly and worked great for the first 4 weeks or so of owning. Used daily in a house with 2 teenage boys. Worked great to heat leftovers then 1 hour later would not heat at all. Lights came on, keypad worked, turntable turned, but no heat produced. Pretty disappointed in a microwave from what I thought was a reputable brand. Now to get a refund for a defective product, I have to buy another LG microwave & submit that receipt to initiate return on the original microwave. Why would I buy another?!?! What a waste of time and energy for me.
