    If you're looking for a "family sized" microwave - this is it. I bought it over the internet. It was a great deal. But when it was delivered - I didn't think they made them that big! Suggest you either see it in the store or measure off the space where you are before you buy it.

    The glass door imploded during the warranty period. Best Buy directed me to the manufacturer who would not do anything to help. Then, to add salt to the wound, I have to pay to have it recycled.

    Really loved this microwave, especially the sensor reheat function, until it failed for no reason. It would still power on, it just wouldn't heat anything. Exchanged for the tried and true Panasonic genius series and have no regrets.

    Returned the first one after internal wiring started sparking and smelled of burnt plastic. Second one started sparking and keypad stops accepting input and when it does continually shuts off just as it starts to work. Will never buy this brand again.

    Good microwave overall but one of the sensor buttons stopped working within 6 months. If you can live wi5 that possibility, go for it.

    Failed After Four Days

    I purchased this microwave oven because of the reputation of LG. Couldn't have been more wrong. It failed after four days after 7 to 10 uses. Of course it was under warranty. Was instructed by LG to dispose of the unit; repair or replacement of the unit or simple replacement was not an option. In other words, this 4 day unit was considered e-waste. LG also required that I buy another LG microwave before a refund would be issued. Wow! Will never purchase another LG product of any sort again.

    Disposable Microwave - Breaks just after warranty

    Broke in 14 months. Carousel no longer spins. We've had great luck with LG TVs and washers and dryers but this is the second LG microwave (both were this model) that broke on us in a very short period. Do yourself a favor and buy a GE instead.

    Power Failure, Microwave Now Useless

    I should have listened to the negative reviews. Product failed within 10 months. Power completely died in the microwave. When it worked, it worked well, but clearly quality control was not something they kept in mind when producing these. Now I just have a useless box in my kitchen. BestBuy support basically left me out to dry in getting help with this. Very dissapointed in this purchase and the support here.

    It worked fine for 2 years and 15 days. Then it broke. By looking up the error codes it needs a repair visit. Unfortunately the warranty stops at 2 years. So much for durable appliances.

    It is the wrong color it is black I asked for stainless steel in black and you all were supposed to contact me back about getting someone will talking with geek squad seeing if they could pick it up and bring me the right color. I did not hear a response back from you are I’m very disappointed because I am disabled I am Able to bring back the product you are promised that you would pick up the product and bring the right product and I haven’t heard from anyone win, and if it would happen

    Would not recommend. If you do buy make sure you get the warranty. Popcorn button never worked. It’s been barely a year and the transformer has completely gone and and the Geek Squad said it’s trash at this point.

    Stopped working after 18 months. So-called smart diagnosis was not helpful and LG does not produce a product that is expected to last more than a year according to their warranty.

    I really liked the looks of LG& Samsung both and cycled thru both of them in 2 months then finally got back to the good old GE. They both worked ok for first couple weeks then it was a hit and miss, it will warm up sometimes and other times food will remain cold I am Tech guys so I knew it is not that I am doing something wrong finally after couple of weeks the units just died. I think the new jazzy stuff in LG and Samsung makes them more vulnerable to issues

    Worked great till just past the warranty period

    Bought this unit sep 2018. By a year in we were noticing phantom button presses meaning the control board was failing. Now we also have less heating. Sensor cooking no longer works properly. From other reviews is it appears there is a trend. I am going to exchange this one and try again. Very disappointed my last microwave was working flawlessly after 10 years and only had to leave it because I sold the house. Have other lg appliances that work great. Just not this one.

    Do not buy. Magnetron warranty doesn’t cover labor

    Failed after 2.5 years. No longer heating. Has a 10 year warranty on magnetron but bringing it to a service center or having a tech come to the house will cost more than I paid for it. Certified repair shops would also replace capacitors and other parts that often fail which will further increase the repair cost.
